Christine, instead of flattening the bends and shadows (which honestly doesn't look real) try using photopea and duplicate the image, desaturated and use a displacement filter to get the design to actually both bend with the folds and have the shading of the folds and bends. If you save it as a template, then you can simply drag and drop your designs like you showed in canva.
I didn't know the wrinkle one or the last one for sure! Those are so good and will be so useful! Mockups are my biggest struggle/hold up. I get the design done, and then I get all locked up making the mockups for some reason and it slows down my progress or stops it.
Hey Christina, great video! Just a note for the last hack, POD sellers considering doing this need to check the mockup shops' policy. I know for my shop, and some others (but not all), that changing the clothing color is against our licensing agreements.
@@sweetbeepI would think it is because if they’re using a certain brand, specifically, like a Gildan, they may not have that color available, or the color may be a lot lighter or darker than the original. That would not represent the product accurately, which could make for some angry customers. I mean, all of our computers are calibrated differently, so there will be variations, anyway, but the people who bought the mock-up could then complain that the mock-up company did something wrong.

These are all great. I've been using the placeholder trick for over a year now. Saves massive amounts of time. But that's the only one I knew about! The hair getting in the way of designs -- I've bought quite a few mockups only to realize the blanking hair is in the way 🙂, so will definitely be using the tip for that!

Hey C U Online , really nice video! I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your video to reach to a wider audience .
You can use any PNG file. Just use something the same dimensions as the design file. (It could simply e a previous design file.) Adjust the angle, saturations, etc, and then when you're ready to make your mockups for a design, just drag and drop the new design into the placeholder, just like you'd drop an image into a frame on Canva.
@GoWestYoungK9 ..I don't know why..but I don't 'get' it. I just drag and drop my designs into the mockup anyhow..so not sure how this would make things quicker..or how to do it. When I tried the design just sat on top of the placeholder. Maybe I'm just having a mush brain day.
@@anniceallatt7322 - it should work with any png as placeholder. Have you used frames in Canva? It works the same way. You insert the frame onto your artboard, then drag and drop any png/jpg into the frame (versus just clicking, which will lay the image onto the page). Maybe practice with frames first, to get the feel for how it works, then try it with the placeholder on a mockup. RE time-saving, it saves you all the time resizing your design to look just right on the mockup, adjusting the angle and transparency. into the frame. So, instead of 10-20 seconds per mockup, it takes me maybe 2 seconds at most. With a lot of mockups, that adds up.
Question on editing hair in mock ups. I have found that when I edit the layer where I delete the section of a mock up there is a very thin gray line that appears around but I deleted. You can see the line 7:03 but mock up saved with the line….
But can we use these kind of mock ups on Etsy becuse it does not look from Print provider? Or you bought all these mock ups from Etsy?? Is it allowed to use those mock ups bought from Etsy?

Yes you can use mockups used from Etsy :) Etsy has confirmed this and I also addressed it in a video a few weeks back
