Hello! I have a new etsy shop and have made 13 sales in my first month and a half!! So excited and your channel helps a lot! One question, I have a LOT of E-Commerce coaches (it seems like) contacting me through etsy and social media saying something like “i love your products but i know of something that can make your shop better and drive better traffic.” I’m afraid this is a scam and that they will ask for money if they help me. What are your thoughts on these approaches and how do you respond ?
Total nobody here lol.... I have found A LOT of FREE advice so should probably keep doing what you're doing. Maybe I need to try Etsy because my regular website is kinda dead.
I would not take them up on it! I get those too for both shopify and Etsy. If you do want actual personalized advice, hire people you trust or people that have good reviews on places like Fiverr instead!
Thank you for this! Do you opt-in to the Etsy sales promos that are a longer time-frame. Or do you continue to do your short-term 24-48 hour sales? Not sure if one is more beneficial than the other in terms of promotion by Etsy.
Yup! there are apps that will pull your Etsy reviews to shopify or you can manually add them in yourself. Theyre still real reviews from real customers :)

So in this case, will Etsy again put a 90-day payment reserve on my new Etsy shop? Is there any solution to have the hold lifted faster like in 1-2 weeks if I am uploading the tracking info on time?

I've always been undecided if it's better to list what brand and type your shirt/product is or leave it out with only sizing. Unless you're selling a specific item like CC1717 that people look for. I see high selling stores that both disclose and don't exactly what blank products they use.
I only do if its comfort colors. my size guide also says what tshirt brand it is but people dont necessarily search for bella canvas or gildan quite like they do for CC

It has been lately yes! It took a while but now my shopify and etsy are now making about the same amount of sales per day
