How lucky are we that we got to grow up with the ABB and now that we're on the homestretch of our journey, we have awesome musicians like this to see us through.
Happy for your long journey, a blessing. Bill is the right medicine for our current art expression climate, he brought it back home. It seemed we couldnt find the ground for a while there. Thank God these kids are looking for substance, my 16 yr old daughter doesn't listen to anything after the late 90's and cares a lot about the musical quality of a song. Enjoy your journey🙂
Long live Duane !!!
This is incredible!! Looking forward to seeing Billy in August at the Gorge ❤
Billy is one of the most consistently fluid improvisers ever. His ability to instantly transpose his stream of melodic thought onto the fretboard is almost in the savant realm. And what an incredible cast of musicianship embracing him on stage. Joyful Noise indeed!
Well said, his band is insanely good.
Love u dickey. Thank u billy for carrying the legacy
WHAT A TRIBUTE....THANK YOU Billy !!!!!!!
Rest easy Ramblin' man.
Omage to one the greats from one of the current legends! Making a living the best he can and we LOVE him for it!!
Billy for president !!!
Makes me want to cry
I did
I think many did after Dickey passed. Yes, to me he was a giant.
Amazing soloing...on an ACOUSTIC guitar!
That is pretty damn amazing. Hands down some of the finest acoustic guitar pickin' I've ever heard!
Little Martha is the best ever
Billy-Goat 33 - Beautiful tribute by all!
Just a perfect tribute to Dickey Betts. Wow, mad respect! Blue sky though, my favorite song ever, from the first time I heard it 50 years ago. I'd love to hear you cover that one someday.
This young man not only plays acoustic like a beast, he freaking 🎶 sings like someone who actually is on key, I'm jealous as hell!❤ Man he's improvising on this, and it fits, WOW
I love how you can hear the crowd say the “alright” part in Ramblin Man during the apex of song like Dickey did in album cut. RIP Dickey and thanks for sharing this memorial from Billy.
I don’t know what you mean by the apex of the song, but could it be you are hearing them cheering when he substitutes “old St Augustin” for Nashville Tennessee?
Little Martha was Duane's tune. And Ramblin man was Dickie's. Brothers forever
Only way seems so fitting doesn't
Take Ramblin Man into the studio
🐐
What an awesome salute! Billy you are the BEST!
Chills. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent. Thank you.
awesome tribute
He's awesome. I was behind the stage in the free woods! Love this venue
Fucking fantastic
That was an outstanding tribute! Well played by all.
Hot stuff, as usual, and a great tribute.
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for postning!
DANG KID, WE GOT OURSELVES A PICKER HERE!! 🤠
Billy have you ever done led Zeppelin's The Battle of Evermore ?🎵☮️🎶
Yes Halloween 2021 or 2022 it's on TH-cam
Slightly different version than The Allman Brothers
Well yeah it should have their own touch
Why are crowds today so disrespectful? Just keep quiet and listen!
What are you talking about
Yeah, jeez, why would people get excited and be overwhelmingly emotional during such incredibly good music?? I'm sure Billy would prefer everyone to stand motionless and not make a sound in reaction to his efforts. Stay home and listen to a record🤦
SHHHHHHHH 😂
Never been to a Strings show? Its a rowdy rolicin" party. If you want a quite place to sit and watch a show look elsewhere. This is for people who enjoy music.
Yeah I’m with you. Every concert I go to it’s like sitting in the middle of a church social with all the inane chatter during quieter songs. People just need to stfu. You don’t need to talk about everyday bullshit during a show. You are crapping on everyone around you when you do that. To the general public, music is background noise with a chorus we can all sing along with. But fans of music actually want to experience the show, not coffeehouse chatter.
Great cover
