Why are people complaining about the size? This looks amazing for indoors, and since it only takes 90 seconds, just make two 12” pizzas!
This man is a genius inventor
chill he didnt make it
Got one right after it got out. My life has changed forever!
We're so glad to hear it! ⚡️
I love how he throws a shade at US when he says, "Fahrenheit dial for US and for the REST of the World, a celsius Dial". 😅😅😅
Perfect isn't it
I wish they’d release a 16 inch version as well.
We always appreciate your feedback to pass on to our wider team 💛
Yeah me too! I want my pizza’s 12” so i need the 4” extra space
Just make an extra 12 inch pizza. It only takes an extra few minutes
I really like it and definitely see the appeal of being able to make pizzas through winter, but unfortunately, I can't justify spending $1000 on another pizza oven.
My Fyra paid for itself fairly quickly when I bought for $250 years ago.
If you were to change your mind, you can use your Fyra to apply for the upgrade program and get the 20% off discount! We just ask that you surprise a friend or family member with gifting them your Fyra! 💛 ooni.com/pages/ooni-upgrade-programme
@@Oonihq Wow! That’s awesome!
impressive- electric makes great pizza. Natural gas and wood actually release some moisture with the heat. I like a crispy texture so I love electric. Price point of oven is out of reach for and most people. Please find a way to bring price down a bit?
We love our Ooni Volt 12 too ❤⚡!
We do our best to keep our prices fair and reasonable, but we appreciate your feedback and we hear you. Looks amazing. Can’t wait to get one!
My mom bought a pizza oven in 1980. The bottom heated up, the top had an element, and you could adjust each individually. It cooked.. PERFECT pizza every time. I think she spent $10.
But it didn't make a bald guy rich!! /s
Would it cook in 90 secs?
Watch from india 🇮🇳 😅 😊😊👍👍
I love that it is only 12” so it will better fit in my apartment.
Thank you so much Sir
Congratulations!
💥
Thank you! 🍕❤
@@Oonihq You are welcome Sir!
Ooni stands for pursuit of perfection in pizza oven manufacturing.
🙏🏻
That's cool and all, but it doesn't feel like a good value at only 12 inch pizzas when you can just get a 16 inch ooni at a huge difference in price
Huh? Just make 2 small pizzas
Are we getting a 16 inch version?
No plans for a Volt 16 at this time, but we always love hearing what you hope to see from us next! 💛
Ooni is great!!
Thank you! ☺
Can we see the base of the pizza?
No one is showing the bottom?! Top looks nice in this vid
Check the channel Got2EatPizza, she shows the base after her first cook.
@@DoctorFish10 Thanks - looked pretty decent eh
But seriously how does it taste. I have the Karu 16 and love cooking on wood but our winters are long. Plus everyone wants me to join our winter's farmers market and cook pizza.
Pizza made in the Ooni Volt 12 tastes fantastic! It can definitely hold its own against any of our other ovens. ⚡️
Love it .
💛
Impressive 🙌
Thank you!
Amazing what marketing can do. The profit margin on this, I know it'll be astronomical. Well done for convincing people to shell out so much money for essentially a fancy toaster.
The Volt 12 maxes out at 450ºC / 850ºF. We think you'll find it a bit better suited for making pizza than a toaster. 😉⚡️
When a 220volt model will be released?
We don't have all the secrets but we are happy to provide this feedback to our team ⚡️
220v is the "european" model dude. Just cut the plug from any european model and install a new plug from your hardware store.
Looks great, Christian
Do you want an agent for rep of Ireland
I suggest a built in thermometer as a future upgrade.
doesn't need one. It's auto temperature contgrolled
We do have a temperature dial on the front that can both visually and audibly notify you of the desired temperature when it is reached 🙂
Hi, what hydration did you use? And what temperature is the oven set to? Thank you 😊
Hi! Volt can reach up to 450 degrees celsius. We recommend 400-450 celsius (752-842 fahrenheit) for standard Neapolitan pizza. You can adjust the temperature settings and heat distribution in Volt depending on what you're making!
Similarly, dough hydration will depend on the style of dough. You can find our many dough recipes here: ooni.com/search?type=article&q=dough
If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to us on socials, or email socialteam@ooni.com 😊
I know what Volt can reach, i already use on an I am verry happy with it. But what i want to know is which temperature do you use in this Video? And also, what hydration did the dough have in this Video? Because my pizzas from the Volt are currently either not properly baked after 90 seconds. If I extend the time the topping is almost burnig. Or the dough already burns me at the edge.@@Oonihq
Is it available in Latvia?
We do ship to Latvia if you want to head to eu.ooni.com and check out the Volt options! ⚡️
How long can you keep it on before it needs to be turned off?
Hey! The Ooni Volt is designed for domestic use and isn't intended to be kept on for extended periods in a commercial setting. The oven will automatically power down and go into standby mode if the dials aren't touched within 45 minutes. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us at support@ooni.com 😊
@@Oonihq Thank you!
So can I put Ooni Volt against wall? ~2-3cm from wall?
Hey! We recommend ensuring that there are at least 10-15cm on the right-hand side of the oven to access the ON/OFF switch. To the back and left sides of the oven, we recommend a 3cm clearance. 😊
When are we getting a 16 inch version? :)
Probably limited by what you can do with a max 1800W typical in US (this one is 1600W, Breville is 1800W)
@@bostonbesteats364 How does this reach 850F with just 1600W?
@@nickcpv better heat insulation than the Breville probably. More R&D
Looks like you’ve thought of everything with this one 🎉
Thank you! We have been bursting at the seams to share this one with you all! ⚡️
Can I immediately put 2nd pizza without losing heat?
With the boost function, the Volt is ready for another pizza in just 45 seconds! ⚡️
So you didnt have to turn it once? I have the Koda 16 but tempted for the ease of indoor cooking.
Hey Ben! Turning isn't essential with Ooni Volt, but we recommend keeping an eye on it and turning if you feel it's necessary 😊. This is really dependent on how you set the balance dial, and we have some instructions to help you in Volt's Essential Guide (page 19). 🍕❤️ cdn.brandfolder.io/54G1NFTL/at/s34rnx3kk69kq6nt5sbn6s5h/PR230201_-_Volt_12_-_Essentials_LIT_PA-A00094_Digital.pdf
@@Oonihq interesting, thanks
Intresting... does that oven get very hot on the outside? It looks close to the wall in the video, so I assume there isnt required clearance to use it on a counter top?
Is there a convection fan inside, and do you still need to rotate pizzas?
Watch again. at 1:39 he's talking about triple glass desgin to keep the warmth inside, and that is the weakest thermohydrical place of the thing. No fan, no rotation. The "fossile" versions of this burns at the back, this does as seen in the video heat it from the top and bottom. The video says it all really.
We don't recommend sitting anything on top of the oven and it is warm to touch but safe to do so. There isn't an interior fan, and spinning a pizza is totally up to you! Not a must but some of us have a hard time of breaking the habit 😉
@@joakimkn1 I can say the oven does not get hot on the outside (140F maybe) and will not cause burns if you touch it briefly. The front party where it vents and the ooni logo is printed on the metal does get a bit hot (it has a heat sticker) and then the window portion of the glass (the other parts of the front door are not too bad.)
I would say you can touch every single part of the oven and not get burned if it's quick. Most parts you can hold your hand for extended periods
My home oven gets significantly hotter when running at something like 400F.
When I use the volt at 400F it's almost cold on the outside
Interested, but the asking price is so high that I'm priced out! I'll therefore wait until a competitor builts a similar oven at a lower price range - one that the common person can afford.
We do our best to keep our pricing affordable and reasonable. We appreciate your feedback and will send it back to the team 🫶
Is this usable in a food truck setting? Meaning like an eight hour day?
Hi there! The Ooni Volt is not designed to be a commercial product and is made for household/domestic use only. If you have any other questions regarding the Volt feel you can reach out to us here: support.ooni.com/en_us/how-do-i-contact-ooni-rkWw2Cuzj
How long does it take to preheat it then? The total time is what is important?
He said 20 minutes.
20 minutes is correct 🙂 Then just 90 seconds later to tasty pizza!
i would like to see a volt 16
We appreciate the feedback! 💛
Can you cook other stuff in it besides pizza?
Sure, why not? Just limited by low height.
@@bostonbesteats364 like steak?
You sure can! The only items we wouldn't recommend are foods with high fat and oil should not be cooked inside the Volt. However Breads, Lasagna, Cookies, Vegetables etc - all can be done 🙂
I mean what do you think?
@@Systematicsphere what are u talking about?
Can we cook a steak on this volt 12?
Hi Anthony, that's a great question! We'd recommend only cooking/baking recipes such as pizza, bread, cookies, and baked vegetables. We don't recommend using Ooni Volt 12 to cook fatty meats or oil-heavy dishes ⚡.
I have watched review videos for this new oven that revealed low quality comparing to this result....
How long does this oven take to get up to temperature ready to insert pizza
20 min
20 min is correct 🙂
Too small for the price should be 16 inches
How about if someone in the US wants to use Celsius?
Your only option is to move to Canada.
@@bostonbesteats364 or don't buy
@@korypostma But Canada is so beautiful!
@@bostonbesteats364 But USA is more beautiful, even the Chinese named it Beautiful Kingdom (meiguo), lol been to Canada many times and I'll reserve my opinion of it.
The ovens in the US will only show Fahrenheit, we're sorry about this!
It's a shame how expensive is this.. 600£ was more than reasonable price for the launch!
We're sorry to disappoint you with the price. Volt 12 has been many years in the making, and we've worked hard to make sure this certified indoor/outdoor oven will give you an incredible pizza making experience. We will feed this back to our team though! 💛
I cannot afford 1000$ oven, what is the good alternative to electric pizza oven
We do have a variety of pizza oven options available at different price points if you'd like to check them out at Ooni.com 🫶
Ooni was sexy in the past. Still happy with koda 16 - but woul buy another product today.
Electric pizza ovens like the Breville Pizzaiolo have been on the market for several years, at least for indoor use. Not really sure what's revolutionary with this one?
Indoor and outdoor use and 100°F hotter. Those are the important revolutionary factors, and at reduced energy use.
Breville is not hot enough. There are only a couple of models out there actually.
@@playnicegames this has a couple other things too. The breville does not bake with 100% top heat for neapolitan pizzas. This does. Also this is 13.5" and square. The breville has a dumb circular cooking area
@@overnightclassic2 I know the beville isn’t as good, I was the one saying the Volt is better
@@playnicegames yeah I have the volt. It's not perfect. For neapolitans it could be better. Stone overheats way too easily
Every other style works well enough but the stone is definitely thin
dimensions?
Hey! Our Ooni Volt 12 measures 24.2” x 20.8” x 10.9” (61.7cm x 52.9cm x 27.9cm). Feel free to check out our product page for more technical information: ooni.com/products/ooni-volt 🍕⚡

Hi Guys Im looking for the important part How many amps at 120v does it use to make sure i have enough on my breaker 15-20amps? 1600w / 120V= 13.3Amps
If you have a 15 amp breaker, you should be fine as long as you don't have anything else on that circuit. ~13.3 amps is the max draw assuming you are in America with 120v outlets.
A 15A outlet will do you just fine! 🍕⚡️

the funny think is , that all this oven builders stil dont know avaut the temperature when it comes to bake a pizza ,, they allway belive that you need only 1 heat in the oven ,, and thats wrong ,,pizzas you need to bake with 2 difrent temperatures , the one on the buttom shoult be 450 , or 500 grad celcius , and on the top ( Dome ) the temperature is allways abaut 100-150 grad celcius hotter , thats importand to understand ,,, when you insert the pizza in the oven , you nedd only to know the temperature on the floor ,, if the oven is build correct , then it wil allways heat up the dome fastes and hotter then the floor , like the Brick Oven ,,, actuall6 the ooni consumes a lot of Gas , its simply not for comer ial use , it have noo good insulation in the wall at all , thats why you need to bake pizzas allways 2ith a strong flame , and if you close the flame the oven wil rapid cool down , and you need to spend again a lot of gas to warm up the oven,,,
Thank you for your feedback!
20 minutes to heat up to the desired temp. That's too long. Also the cost @ £799.00 retail is out of pocket for most people. Plus your company has no reputation for reliability or longevity. This seriously needs to be considered carefully before making such a purchase.
20mins to heat up fully in your house isn't bad anything less than that your basically setting a fire in your kitchen, are you one of them who just likes to moan??
Nice! But way over priced. Vevor brand is $179, and is slightly bigger.
If it works for you, that's alright by us 💛

Wood, gas, and electric are all good for pizza. In fact many people think “wood” fired pizza taste better but the truth is they all taste the same. Actually if you do “taste” the wood it is indeed a hygiene issue/poor skills or other user error. Their have been many studies about the but a cool read is in “Modernist Pizza”.
No thanks ....not interested. Been a satisfied Ooni user on gas, but i will pass on the electric one.
