One of the best purchases I've ever made. It has such clever design, like the retracting stone. I live in NYC, so (counter) space is at a premium, so the (relatively) small footprint is a big plus. Even when running, it doesn't really get that hot on the outside, so the insulation must be good , allowing for great performance at lower temperatures compared to the competition. Thus far, I've stuck with the preset for Neopolitan pies. I'm going to try the op's settings and see how that works.

Thanks for the excellent comparison. For me it sounds the Breville may be the best choice for convenience, size and quality. What about the Ninja Pizza Oven? I know they say it's only for outdoor, but it looks like it could be used indoor with no problem.

Personally I wouldn't. Especially with the wood-fire option! But if you didn't plan on using the added pellets for wood flavor, it does operate as a pretty standard electric oven. I just can't recall how warm the oven gets on the back/sides. I'll have to fire it up again soon to see. This could limit your countertop placement.

Great video I am delighted to see another pizza nut like myself.
    I bought the effeuno P134H 509
For around €900 with shipping its not as tall as the one you reviewed but it's a beast I cooked over 100 pizzas over a 2 day even never failed. I was going to buy the Ooni but I decided to buy the effeuno P234H 509 Power it's a double deck oven so I can cook 2 pizzas at the same time and I paid just over €1000 so for me money well spent

Hmm, I was already thinking of installing a NEMA 6-20 outlet in my kitchen to boil water much faster with a 240v kettle. I'm starting to think a NEMA 6-20 outlet is just really nice to have in a kitchen in general. You can get higher power portable induction cooktops and such, too. There's probably more that you can do with it that I'm not thinking of, too.

Anyone have experience doing a lot of steaks at max temps on these indoor ovens? Curious about grease fires. I get them using my outdoor gas pizza oven and salamander, but these indoor ovens are oxygen starved and lack the live fire. Would love to finish off steaks indoors, but intuition suggests the risk probability is too high.

Best review on TH-cam in my opinion.
Summary: The 6 Best Indoor Electric Pizza Ovens | Reviewed with Preheat Tests
    Overview of Review and Testing:
Six indoor pizza ovens were tested for their ability to cook Neapolitan and New York-style pizzas.
Key evaluation factors: quality-to-cost ratio, heat distribution, preheat times, and top/bottom burner performance.
    1. Breville Pizza Oven:
Features dual adjustable burners with a crust-only mode.
Excellent for Neapolitan pizzas, baking in under 2 minutes with even top/bottom crusts.
Downside: High price at $1,000. Rated 4.6/5.
    2. Chefman Home Slice:
Affordable option, sometimes priced at one-third of the Breville.
Performs well for New York-style pizzas but struggles with Neapolitan due to inconsistent top burner performance.
Loose door seal affects heat retention. Rated 4/5.
    3. Gemelli Oven:
Nearly identical to the Chefman but with poor user interface and controls.
Long adjustment times and difficulty achieving optimal Neapolitan results.
Recommended only for New York-style pizzas. Rated 2.8/5.
    4.Ooni Volt Oven:
Exceptional heat retention and high performance for both pizza styles.
Features a boost function for maintaining stone heat.
Recently reduced in price by $100, making it a competitive option. Rated 4.8/5.
    5. Cuisinart Oven:
Advertised maximum temperature of 700°F but underwhelming performance.
Poor heat distribution and inadequate results for Neapolitan pizzas.
Rated 2.2/5, the lowest in the review.
    6.Effeuno P134A:
High-performance Italian oven reaching over 1,000°F.
Produces top-notch Neapolitan pizzas in under 75 seconds.
High cost and electrical setup requirements make it ideal for enthusiasts. Rated 4.8/5.
    Final Rankings and Recommendations:
The Ooni Volt is the best pick for most U.S. users due to its balance of price and performance.
The Effeuno is recommended for dedicated Neapolitan enthusiasts.
Breville is excellent but overpriced compared to the Ooni Volt.
Key Advice: Choose ovens based on your preferred pizza style and budget, with the Ooni Volt offering the best overall value.

I end up watching you video trying to find which oven is better for Neapolitan pizza between ONNI Volt 12 and EFEUNO .... seems that the answer is EFFEUNO I don't know why but in Europe EFEUNO is cheaper than OONI with 50 euros

    • @palapizzaovens
      @palapizzaovens  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

FYI by code, modern North American kitchens run their top and bottom 120v outlets on separate circuits, meaning that an outlet can be configured for 240v just by combining top+bottom, w/o updating the breaker panel.
You’d first need to confirm that your kitchen complies with that paradigm (look for separate breakers on the panel). Then search for a Leviton 5031-W 15 Amp 125/250 Volt receptacle, and an appropriate Nema 5 15R adaptor.
Theoretically this should work, but confirm with an electrician.

@@lisarct1012 If you mean my assertion that modern NA kitchens run 2 separate circuits, I’m just going by what was told to me by an electrician, and then I confirmed it to be true for my 2003-built home. I don’t know what the codes are for all states and provinces, but if your kitchen doesn’t have the 2 circuits then either you live somewhere where that isn’t the practice, or your house isn’t new enough.

@@lisarct1012 well and it’s also possible that I misspoke by using the word “code”. Maybe it’s just considering a best practice. But yeah, I was told that if your house was built after 2000 you’re almost guaranteed to have the dual circuits. I lived in this house for 23 years without even knowing that, until someone told me. Maybe it’s not common knowledge.

Nice review. I love my Breville, which goes on sale regularly and you can stack a further 20% off by signing up for a Williams Sonoma cc, so it only cost me $639 + sales tax.

So just the other day I had someone message me on Instagram and said that they can get the Breville in the UK for £499.95 - about $630. And it doesn't sound like a sale situation. I really wouldn't be surprised if Breville reduces the price soon...
