Teacher donates kidney to her first-grader

Jodi Schmidt now has a forever bond with one of her first graders in renal failure after she stepped in to donate her kidney. She surprises the little girl's grandmother with her decision in this heartwarming video.

Reporting error in the story. Mrs. Schmidt was teaching third grade at this time. Fuller was in first grade, so she obviously wasn't in Schmidt's classroom.
