So Dope… a Live Set from Sarah on Venice beach 😃. Oh snap… an extended version of Lemuria (Channel theme song) … Dope. You were the first MASCHINE MK3 user I saw 👀 on TH-cam 3 years ago. You go “boff Coast” Jamstress 🤩
Reminds me of all the times I first listened and subscribed... it certainly takes me back; I personally extracted a part of myself out of the songs you've made in a very personal and meaningful way that I really can't say for a lot of producers. Perhaps a handful of ones that were my inspiration, but for a long time, I've really learned a lot from every single producer. I'm thankful that music is able to do this, but also the range of creativity is not limited. The only way it really can be, is if we limit ourselves, though it can be difficult to overcome this. Thank you, it seems as if you were along with us for the journey and not just us with you on your journey. I've learned a lot of things since! Much love Sarah! 🙂
I have to come back here and comment yet again. I have a new SP404MK2 and love it ... after a lot of effort, lot of study, trial and error and all in a very short period of time, I've started working on my 1st CD and have been getting a lot of great feedback from a few industry connected people for the one track I have been sharing on social media. I even got an email from someone connected to Timberland Live asking if I could submit some material. I haven't responded yet. But, I owe this all to this very video. All of my tracks are in various stages of completion, non are fully finished yet, there are still some concept beats I am working on but I just have to thank Sarah. This video really captures my attention.
Wierd I just came across this and I'm a Sarah fan. Tomorrow is the 4th of July 2024 and the anniversary of the first gig I ever played on July 4th 1967 and it was at the old Venice Pavilion which then was an open air amphitheater. It was kind of scary because we get there and the band that played before us was packing up as fast as they could and looking rattled. We ask one of the bands what was going on and they said there is a bunch of bikers in there and if they don't like you they start yelling and make you stop and get out fast. Then a couple bikers saw us and aw your next come on in. So we had to setup and play. We were a psychedelic rock band started our songs and next thing we see it the bikers are digging our music. So we relaxed and played our set and did our being end The End by the Doors. We were a hit and were packing up and the bikers are coming on stage and telling us they dug our band. Then the big biker with this wood Buddha hanging on a piece leather on stage with a couple guys like body guards with him and he's introduced to us as the leader of their gang. He says you guys were good you can and rub Buddha's belly. I grab Budda and the belly was worn down so I figure it was an honor so I rubbed the belly and said thanks. The helped up load are gear back in our car and we went home, gig #1 a success. I missed the Funky Venice I grew up in a lot artists living down then and other interesting people. Thanks for bringing back that memory.
