This game looks so fun. I'm glad there's more RTS' for military, like Company of Heroes and the such. Makes me so happy! This is definitely something I will 2000% watch when the game releases.
To be honest this game is more comparable to Wargame franchise. If you have not heard of it I suggest you try, Wargame Red Dragon usually go on sale on Steam.
Liked the depth and the challenge of the demo which isn't totally evident from your great execution of the mission. My guess is you had a fair amount of time playing prior to your recording. Not sure how i feel about micro'ing flares on air units, feels a bit foreign coming from wargame but I see some benefits. My main complaint was some of the UI elements. I would have liked to have seen more feedback for units on hold fire and units using abilities, at times I would click and have to go off their voice lines to figure out what my units were doing. Good to see some competition to wargame. Also fairly confused as to how many of any one unit I could call in and how availability worked, particularly when dealing with transports.
Very late reply so you've probably already heard about this, but devs confirmed that at release flares will be automatic (can't remember if it'll be a sort of option (like manual/auto) or just automatic by default Also yeah, demo was difficult. I'm new to this type of rts, so there's that, but it took me 4-5 tries xd
Hey PE, I bought and completed Ixion after watching your videos and my god I suffered 😂 Loved it though! Thanks for showcasing new and amazing strategy games 🤝
I was gonna say just seeing the unit costs when the video started 'this is just the latest Wargame' lol. I used to love playing European Escalation online.
Having to micro smoke and flares seems a bit much. But maybe I don't have the right mindset. Especially when it looks like you get overwhelmed the second you look away from one side of the battlefield.
They confirmed that it was a bug that made it so countermeasures didn’t get automatically used in the demo. In the actual release flares/chaff/smoke will be automatic
Just fair warning for the release, the Sea King can carry I think it was like. 14.5KG of supplies, compared to the Ospreys' 6.5. Sea Kings make much better supply heli's then the osprey lol
Imagine Cities Skylines / Cities XL Region size (5-10 Cities/ tiles) = 1 country + HOI4 Military division management + THIS Game Micro Macro strategy when at war with other Countries.. This will probably be within our lifetime...
There's 2 comments that I can see that even mention WARNO. if your trying to make some social remark on repetitive commenting you've already mentioned it more times than the entire comment section. The comparison isn't unfair either, they are clearly competitors in the same space.
mission briefing is cringy. its serious gaming but then you get a teen gaming cod gun-ho briefing. like a too the point professional briefing without overacting melodramatic voice moistly word-jerk about the armament you are about to use. and those shouts.....it's very us oriented i guess. seems more like a remake of that old game from 2007, world in conflict.
I loved the storytelling in World in Conflict. This looks like a spiritual successor to that great RTS.
man if i loved that campaign
This gave me strong World in Conflict nostalgia.

I think this scale of game for napoleonic warfare would be insanely epic
Just play NTW. Broken arrow only have max 200 troops whereas NTW can go over 2000
Theres always that one nerd who wants Napoleon or Empire gunpowder era games, why? Theyre boring asf. Line up and shoot 😂
@JabtoHook that's like saying medieval warfare is just staby staby

Warno seems like decent competitor to war game and steel division 2 is good for the ww2 style with differences

I like how they just literally took a picture of an actual destroyed T-72 and put a filter over it to make it look like an ingame graphic.
Very excited for this game, always thought a Wargame-like game in modern times would be great. Any ideas on price point on release?
Is this the sequel to world in conflict I've been waiting all these years for? Does anybody else remember that game?
Mosin-nagant equipped penal infantry and rusty lada technicals would have been a much more accurate representation of a modern Russian army roster.
Too soon 😂
But, if the Russian army is such shit Why can’t Ukraine beat them. Why we gotta send them tanks, and fighter jets? Could it be the mass media lying?
@@Frank_havre_creation Too soon for Russian developers to be making this game while their country commits war crimes in Ukraine
@@alexandersnider734 You know it was humour right? You know what that is, humour?
Bro this game is made by some Russian Zombies. They added T-14 parade tank as if it is a real tank... This alone is enough proof of that.
Glad you are covering this game! Always been a fan of large scale RTS and excited to see your playthrough this year!
Best playthrough of this i have seen.
I'm actually really hyped for this game, looks like a better looking version of Warno with different game mechanics. Wishlisted it on Steam.
Ngl this game looks cool af , cant wait for the release
I was gonna say just seeing the unit costs when the video started 'this is just the latest Wargame' lol. I used to love playing European Escalation online.
Thanks. I enjoyed Regiments and will defo get this when its out.
Damn, this looks really really good.

Will the full release have more nations or just the US and Russia? I want Leopards 2A7s :3
Russian developers playing fantasy they are actually at war with the US and somehow are equal, so probably not
This game is World of conflict 2 :D
Iim so happy to see the entire game. Waaaaaaaaaaaa
Nice gameplay looks amazing!
Can you record battles for cinematic play back?
What do you think is the main difference between this game and WARNO?
Just fair warning for the release, the Sea King can carry I think it was like. 14.5KG of supplies, compared to the Ospreys' 6.5. Sea Kings make much better supply heli's then the osprey lol
Generals fight the last war and so do gamers it seems. At least we've finally moved on from WW2 to the Cold War dynamic.
I actually agree with you on this.
Are you going to cover the game WARNO too? Its an excellent RTS since the recent updates.
Will it have sea combat as that is something about the wargames I really like and is missed in a lot of other games.
bought regiments and will get this
Like the gameplay PE but I doubt I'd want to be in any one of these units myself.
Looks cool
Only for PC?
Imagine Cities Skylines / Cities XL Region size (5-10 Cities/ tiles) = 1 country + HOI4 Military division management + THIS Game Micro Macro strategy when at war with other Countries.. This will probably be within our lifetime...
SOLD!
dude this game looks kick ass
How is the scale compared to Warno? How are the graphics compared to Warno? How does it run compared to Warno? How does it play compared to Warno?
There's 2 comments that I can see that even mention WARNO. if your trying to make some social remark on repetitive commenting you've already mentioned it more times than the entire comment section. The comparison isn't unfair either, they are clearly competitors in the same space.
Im still waiting for the game to come out.
Tell me this has a 5v5 mode?
Yep, it'll
Will it include modern problems of the Russian armed forces such as selling off the fuel for their tanks before combat?
If it doesn't include the "T-72 turrent space program", why buy?
This is the route that generals 2 needed to take, a more detailed realistic look, not mobile look lol
how i get the came
this game look cool as fuck. Large scale warfare with modern equipment
looks like world of conflict?
Can i still download the game?
Demo is over so unfortunately not. They want to do a playtest around late spring/early summer.
Modern men of war?
I guess these buildings and trees are taken from GTA because it is not destroyed by bullets, rockets. 😂😂
👍
Please, ask the Devs to add Wagner 🙂
I don't want this game. I fucking NEED IT
Unfortunately this game will focus only wiht the US and the Russian army, so not realistic as the game would be (because 2 nuclear power). Very sad.
mission briefing is cringy.

Bots that play as Russians in this game ate genius, sending su-25 on f18, just flying helicopter without using it, not using artillery at all
