Once again quite interesting and with some surprises. I had thought Lane somewhat old fashioned yet there it is in your library. And, in an unexpected direction, there's Visual Complex Analysis, a book I did not know of but immediately recalled my struggles years ago. in the late 1970's when going through tapes of Oliver Heaviside's notebooks. He was self taught having worked through the old series by Todhunter from the Victorian Era. But that was another life far in the past ! Again thanks ! You are a quintessential scholar and willing to share your adventures. This is rare.
Assalamualaikum brother! That is one excellent collection. Could you please suggest a few books or perhaps make a video on the essential reads of the Shia theology. I adhere to Sunnism myself but would love to get the Shia perspective on a lot of things which have been relayed to us.
Waow!!! Its also my dream.now I have about 1k books of different islamic sects books.I am student and I belong to Baltistan. In Khaplu Baltistan there is no library.I want to make a library and I am promoting book study culture.I purchase 8-10 books every month for my future library.InshaAllah after two three years I have a library like you sir.
Salam 'alaykoum, very beautiful library but you did not cite Shaykh Ahmad al Ahsa'i and any work from the Shaikhi school. Are you interested in his work and what do you think of his approach?
I have most of Mulla Sadra's Arabic works. Not much has been translated into English. I have two such texts: al-Hikmat al-'Arshiyya (The Wisdom of the Throne, trans. by J. Morris) and two different translations of al-Masha'ir (one by P. Morewedge and the other by S. Nasr and I. Kalin). As for Christian works, I have both of Aquinas' Summas as well as his commentaries on Aristotle and the complete works of of Augustine, the wirtings of Anselm of Canterbury, some Willam Ockham and some Duns Scotus.
This room is so expensive and yet there is no luxury item here😂. I got a question. Are those dictionaries more complete than online dictionaries or did you buy them just because you like physical books better?
You are just like me with your books and your martarts weapons 😂 except you are the Shia version 😂😂😂 I also have a Massive library that spans 2 rooms... I also have books of Aristotle and Ibn Sinaa and Logic and tasawwuf...I don't have any Shia books because they are not easily available in the UK and I'm not really interested in Shia/Sunni differences because I just accept that there are other Muslims called Shia with a different theology and I leave it at that. I am interested in Jewish law and so you have given me some good ideas inshallah for future purchases😊 I would say you are a very well rounded and well read Scholar 😊 very refreshing 😊
As salaam alaikum brother, you've got one of the most amazing libraries I've seen!
Thank you! Be sure to like and subscribe. I'll be doing a few more videos on selected works from my library in the coming months. Stay tuned!

Beautiful library.
do you know of anywhere online that someone could purchase the Umm al-Kitab, if not in English, then in Arabic?
Thank you for sharing!

No, almost none of them have online versions.
Maravillosa biblioteca!

Not enough classic /lit
There is plenty of that in other parts of the Library.
