Most of these hurricanes always make that "right" turn and go up to the North Atlantic. But once in a great while, they dont. I'm old enough to remember when Hurricane Andrew just kept plowin' west right through South Florida on its way to an eventual landfall in New Orleans. 😮😮😮
I was in the eye of that storm and it was hurricane Katrina ❤

Fox weather is impressive. They just started 2 years ago and i think they have such a slick and informative broadcast. I stopped watching the others and now watch only fox weather. This just the facts style is going to be a winner for them.
I'm paying attention to Hurricane Lee. I live in Massachusetts, USA. Such a large storm will cause much hurt to people in its path, wherever they may be. I pray that people will be safe and that this storm becomes less powerful, and it avoids landfall and stays out to sea. With the tracks projected, I expect to have rain and possibly heavy winds (power outages, trees down, flooding and such). Thus, I'm preparing for it now, as good as I know how to and share my concerns with others. We have time to prepare.
If it makes it to your location, it'll likely be at tropical storm intensity.

Living on Long Island (miles from the ocean) i am keeping an eye on it but there hasn't been a model run that shows hurricane conditions here. Hopefully, that stays true.

Why is that it seems that two hurricanes combine with the red and yellow model but the following model didn’t show that? I don’t like that discrepancy. That should be cleared up for all of us because that will certainly strengthen the storm

@@somersfamily And you would have been paid less as well, half your children die before adulthood, worker safety was nonexistent, AND weather predictions a day or 2 out were equivalent to what we can now see multiple weeks out. Those rose tinted glasses become less nice when you wash them out.

For you to say that Lee will go north, you the forecasters need control of atmospheric events, power, and control that you do not have
they don't have control, what they have is knowledge and computer models that allow for prediction within a range of variables
