Death makes us believe in such things whether they are true or not. After my brother's demise I saw many videos to cope with my grief. I came across near death experiences where people allegedly came back to tell the stories. I saw many mediumship videos as well where the mediums talk to demised souls. To some extent I started believing they might be true. Almost like wanting to believe as they give us relief and solace.
I still want to believe my brother is waiting for all of us whom he left to suffer. Now, the world in front of us seems a suffering to me and I want to go back to the home where I actually feel home. Where I meet them who is my soul family. There's no better feeling than feeling at home where fear and anger have no place and only love pervades everything. Where freedom brings us happiness. I want to go to that place.

Edit: The concrete wall/localizer is more than 1000ft/300meters from the end of the runway and it complies with international aviation standards. Beyond the wall there is a ditch, a road and buildings. So even if the wall wasn’t there, it would have still been a disaster.

This is an interesting bit of the article,
The concrete structure in question holds a navigation system that assists in aircraft landings, known as a localizer, and is located about 250 meters from the end of the runway.
The 2-meter tall structure is covered with dirt and including the localizer, it is 4 meters high. The mound is known to have been built as the localizer was replaced last year.
Airport officials said the mound was raised to keep the localizer level with the runway to ensure it functions properly as the ground at the end of the runway is slanted.
Some experts and observers have raised questions over the mound and whether more lives could have been saved if it was not there as the aircraft skidded about 1,600 meters on the runway before colliding with the structure.
"I've seen many antennas in many airports but it's the first time I've seen such a type," a pilot who requested anonymity said, referring to the localizer. "Even if you want to make the antenna taller, there is no need to build a concrete wall."

We don't yet know if the pilots forgot to deploy the landing gears or if they failed. It's unlikely they failed because they have triple redundancies. There is a backup lever where they can release the landing gears by just gravity alone and no power is needed. It's not the first time pilots have forgotten to deploy or missed the checklist (or an item on the checklist), especially when they are rushed.

Gear up landings are not uncommon - pilots either forget becasue they're distracted or decided to disregard the checklist because they think they have no time (in an emergency, etc). They only had 7 minutes between the first landing attempt and the 2nd landing, and 7 minutes is not enough to run an engine-out checklist. The CVR transcript will tell us whether or how they did not deploy their landing gears.

It's to house the localizer antennas which guide the aircraft in for landing. However it wasn't supposed to be rasied on a berm like a wall. It's supposed to be flat and flushed on the ground and the antennas can break away easily if impacted, to prevent fatal accidents exactly like this one. The problem is this specific airport built that berm contrary to safety guidelines that would've prevented this. Let's see what else will come out from the investigation. There will be a prelim report in about a month, then the final report in about 1-2 years.

I am a Korean, and currently, Korea is in a state of extreme unrest, with daily life seemingly at a standstill for everyone. It is a cruel December. No Korean media outlet is reporting on the metaphorical concrete wall .Politically, the nation is highly unstable, with the president becoming the first in our constitutional history to face an arrest warrant for charges of rebellion.
I deeply wish for Korea's political landscape to stabilize quickly and for a democratic system to function properly once again. Amidst this turmoil, a tragedy has struck-families who had gone on a year-end trip to Bangkok have all suffered a devastating accident. It is heartbreaking, and I cannot sleep. All I can do is pray for the souls of the victims and their grieving families.

No understand why they are accusing the "walls" , pilot, and so forth but no mainstream media released any problems relating to Boeing plane

the plane itself is far from fault here given all other more probable & observable factors that played roles in this disaster.

the plane obviously landed despite hydraulics failing, and everyone would've survived if that wall wasn't there!!!

    • @mnm8818
      @mnm8818 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

Not the plane manufacturer fault it's the airline company that maintains it. HL8088 (this aircraft) few days ago had a mayday and returned to Korea via China. So there was some fault with it maybe already but yet to be released by the airline company. Global aviation safety will do their investigation so they always find out eventually.

Two days before the accident, I had a nightmare that a big plane exploded while landing - when I woke up I felt so scared that I couldn't breathe, but I told myself that it was not real to calm down. However two days later, this tragedy happened and my heart is shattered for the people and family victims of this disaster. I just hope they somehow are able to rest in peace somewhere 💔 hope this won't happen ever again. I still want to think this is not real

RIP to the victims - very tragic accident. What actually caused the crash was the concrete wall at the runway. If that wasn't there, there could've been more survivors. South Korean media is not highlighting this fact.

It upsets me that people are in denial that it was a bird. Some are saying it was on purpose or it was Boeings fault. But the restaurant owner at the end even said they have a lot of wild geese. Hitting a bird that big going over 100mph will do a lot of damage. I’m no aviation expert, but it must’ve damaged the right engine and something to do with the landing gear and break triggers maybe.
This was a horrific accident. If you believe otherwise, please find something else to cure your boredom with life on.

It upsets you, people are in denial, when you admit you have no earthly idea what happened? The plane can fly perfectly with one engine. There is plenty of time to do a go around. There is more to this issue than a bird strike. Obviously the airport design is also a mistake.
