If you want to run a different ESC, you need a receiver too because the 2-in-1 is useless then. You toss it in the garbage and get separate components like it should have had in the first place.
I've got the original 3s Typhon and it's my favourite RC but this looks even better. Arrma really pulled it out the bag. Only thing i'm not sure of is the 2 in 1 reciever and ESC....
Great Job! Would love to see a future video of the new 223s running against the typhon 3s slipper version in the parking lots head to head! I ended up ordering a center diff module to stick in my existing 3s typhon really don t know if it was needed or necessary . Kind of think it is heavier and will make the car slower?
JT, I assume if you set it to say mode 4 on the tx. It stays on mode 4 when you turn the radio off then back on again. In other words you dont have to reset the mode each time you turn the car on.
You on the video I don't think I turned it off. I just kept hitting the power button and turning it to the right. It may have seemed like it because I was trying to film all this with one hand but
Yes your correct. The instructions say that whatever mode you last had it on, is what it'll be on when you fire it back up. Its super easy and fast to change out, which makes its very nice..... 💯
In the new Senton. They dropped pinion from 20t to 16t for the new version. It probably explains why these are not hitting 50mph anymore. Wonder if it's the same with this.
@@JayTeeRCTeam Corally has stepped up their parts support here in the USA. HRP, Rc Hobby Explosion both keep stock of all current Corally rc models. It’s where I get parts for my Syncro4 and Kagama 6s.
Man I am a Traxxas fan boy at heart but daaaammmm…. Arrma is really starting to gap em. What you get for the price is making this an OBVIOUS purchase over the Jato VXL. And that seems to be the norm now per platform. I’m sorry Traxxas, but my first basher buggy is gonna be an Arrma!
These larger 223s are starting to grow on me. Now if only they didn't use combined ESC' and receivers🤮. Of the upcoming bunch of BLXs, which do you think is the one most worth getting?
The Jato is a turd.! Remember when Traxxas used to be known for innovation.? Now all they can manage are parts bin specials, they still expect us to pay them innovation money though.! 😉 😉 😂 😁
Better part availability, actual metal diffs, stronger parts, better shocks, not a crappy 2in1 system. Arrma literally copies traxxas for a lot of their vehicles. The arrma 3s line is one of the worst. 6s is solid fs
I thought the same since I own a custom Kratonv5 kratonv2.5 and a Mojave 6s. Now I own a fully modified Vorteks❤ running on 150a 4s and a senton 3s that I'm really loving -the way they puts power down is nuts😂
I’d still take a jato vxl 4s over the typhon 6s any day, but this outdoes both. I still think the plastic ring gears should’ve been done away with, but for the price it’s a relatively small upgrade needed.
Yeah Traxxas won this time no matter the price after looking at 3 videos of the typhon mega 3s that i already bult that new jato will blow the wing off this car jato better for sure nice new body arrma

@@JayTeeRCthere is the Corally Syncro 4 4S buggy , and that is still the cheaper option buggy even with ARRMA'S new updates to it's new updated TYPHON 3S 🤣 🤣 🤣 .
Arrma killing it again. Center diff, steel diff outdrive pinions, steel pivot balls.
And a garbage 2-in-1.

Nice RC and video.

Why get the same thing twice lol, just go 6s
1/8 scale brushless arrma tough with center differential for just 329? Jesus Christ! Finally something to de throne the MT10
Cars sounds smooth 🫡
I want that one. Clipless bodies finally arrma
wonder how that clipless system will hold up
time will tell
Great review Im getting this one now
Thank you brother for the information. It looks super cool. 💯💯👍
sure np
Im hoping the next one of these revamps is the 3s Big Rock!! 🤞but definitely will be getting one of these Typhons!! Great vid man, thanks!
I put the center diff in mine a year ago - handles soooo much better and more even tire wear!
Did you get LVC while running?
This or the TC Syncro4? Most important is durability. Speed on both are faster than I need. It is for my kids. Thank you and great video!!!!

Any time!
This kind blows thr rlaarlo line out of the water for just a lottle more you get arrma reliability and easy access to parts.
Thing looks quick
Please run the two side by side over similar terrain, so we can see the differences
which two?
The new three s b l x and the new 223.S b l x

Yes
Ive had mine for 4 years and only drive it on 3s and NEVER had a problem with the diffs. Its due to the lghtweight wheels.
