    I laugh at my single friends. They stay up all night working on their rigs. My 5 kids rush out to meet me before I can even get out of the truck! It’s early morning maintenance, or no maintenance at all!!!!

    There are some roof washes I require a house wash to accompany it. I got overspray on some siding during a roof wash once and I had to do a free house wash. Love and learn, I guess

    Might have an air leak since your pulling from a tank. So either you have a vacuum leak causing it not to pull sufficient water supply to feed the 200 ft or it doesn't like to draw well from the entry point you are drawing from and may want to draw from a lower point so gravity can feed the water.

    Joe pressure wash products has 2 kinds of a k7 unloader and one of them in the description is built for longer hoses. I have had mine on the entire year with no issues maybe try giving that a try next time

  • @frankpirrone6032
    @frankpirrone6032 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have the same 1/4” barb and I stuck it in the tank and pex clamped 1/2” of hose inside the tank so it doesn’t whip around.

    Hey Joe had simmilar issues I know how annoying that can be especially a new machine. When you set the K7 when you have your hand on the trigger is it bypassing? On the pressure sensitive type unloader you usually set them up "on the trigger" until their is hardly any bypassing. Just a little. Off the trigger should bypass like crazy. The VRT is my backup too it's really reliable and always works! Lol 🤣

    • @sundown798
      @sundown798 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So basically if it's bypassing on the trigger no bueno.

    i see when you using xjet or m5 around 4:10 it seems to have weak not even spray at the sides? i only run a 4gpm machine with a 4gpm xjet but i find as well my xjet has weak sides of spray and not even a good slap i know u have 8gpm but still even watching your older videos i dont get the same height or pressure from it, i end just just using a 4banger not sure if it just a faulty xjet or what lol.

  • @jasongarrett1390
    @jasongarrett1390 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Joe, just an observation and a question, why would you allow your machine to run idle and add up the hours while it's in by-pass. I just shut my machine down if it's gonna be longer than 5 minutes before I get back on the gun.

    • @powerfulimprovements

    I’m having similar issues. No surging but when I’m rinsing then go off the trigger it sounds like the pump is making pressure (under a load). Bypass pissing hard and unloader doesn’t seem to pop open. Any help appreciated

    If that doesn't work long term, and the orifice isn't an option, maybe put that barb into the unloader and run a 1/4 line to the tank. Just a thought to make those threads hole the backpressure and not a barb at the far end of the line

I have a janitorial business and missing out on a lot of business from clients wanting roof/house washing. So I’ve been trying to learn as much as possible. But now I’m going crazy.

  • @srdjannakalamic5856

    Get an update on that K7.
    What orifice did you change out on it. Is it actually on the unloader or in the tank

    • @powerfulimprovements
      @powerfulimprovements  ปีที่แล้ว

      Didn’t make any changes to the unloader this season. And this issue has resolved. I used an 8-10 ft bypass line into the buffer tank. I believe because it’s a couple feet long than last year that it’s creating more friction and the problem has resolved

  • @simplycleanpressurewashing758
    @simplycleanpressurewashing758 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    K1 is a lot more user friendly then the K7…..I think you need to change the orifice size in the bypass/unloader…..maybe.

    • @Frindleeguy
      @Frindleeguy ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you used a cat 7450? I'm looking at it as a flow sensitive option, but I change psi several times a day and would like the hand-friendly cap (instead of needing a wrench to change it). Can't tell if it has the orifice issue on the bypass side...
