Get the M series MacBooks unless you literally can't even afford the M1, it's very much worth it. Intel Mac "may suffice" but it will suck half your battery out, get an M series chip if you could.
I believe that it depends on use case 😄 if your someone who watches movies and watches TH-cam and you don’t have a lot of money a newer Intel Mac could do the trick
W Red Dead, been playing that again recently. I ordered a practically brand new 2020 intel 13 inch pro i7 16gb 512gb (ddr4 model) with ONLY 30 BATTERY CYCLES for 500 bucks a few days ago. If i got an M1 or M2 of that laptop with 16gb of ram its close to 1k used which is insane. I think the intel ones are a great deal. I just wanted a good touchbar 13 inch and I am happy with it.
@@Spacemonkey-fi2bq It's more expensive tho and people say it's still very good for normal tasks. And it overheats when playing games and video editing. But all I'm doing is school work, watching vids and other stuff.
@@FLM_OFF yeah I’m also buying new Mac this summer for school I’m probably just gonna buy refurbished MacBook Air m3 from apple they are like but cheaper m3 got better gpu I heard hardware ray tracing and stuff

and battery life... you can get a brand new m1 macbook air for under 700 dollars and it will be the longest lasting laptop on the market

Get a m3 , m2 only have less nand chips. That’s gonna make storage slower even slower than m1

I would say a gaming pc if you don’t need to take it places 24/7 but if you need it to transport then the laptop. 😁👍
