To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. The first 6 minutes were better than the rest of the video actually, because that's how a baby learns how to speak a language, by listening to a person in front of them, I prefer that style of teaching instead of the "professional" way

Is there any Chinese writing course in Chinese Pod 101 ? Just wonder, Chinese is not like English, French, Japanese, Korean, etc, which have alphabets/ letters, is it possible to teach writing in Chinese Pod 101 ?
I recommend that you don't speak English during the video. You can include English subtitles, but there is a lot of extra language which can be learned through your explanations if they were spoken in Chinese. It's a common mistake of many language teachers to use the learners first language too much during a lesson. It's okay to use it if they are true beginners to explain basic grammar points, but the material you are teaching here isn't basic Chinese, so you should just explain it all in Chinese.
But for me it's pretty convenient that she explained those words in English as it's comprehensible and I'm just learning HSK-1 and so I would not be able to catch her if she spoke in Chinese the whole time.
