I wouldn’t call them underrated. A lotta people just don’t really like the writing style, myself included.
But they are always pretty darn clean

The Cadets had the hardest book in 2018. Hands down. I've learned music from all the top 12 for the past few years and nobody made me say "What the fuck" more times than The Cadets

ikr everyones like "hnnnng SCV" but imo SCV didnt change one bit. The cadets feel refreshing to me this year.

@Alexandre Aristy doesn't mean the coats' music can't be triplets. They have more triplets. Listen to the video. These guys don't play exclusively triplets.
Love the wrap on those shells. My favorite Ive seen so far. I really thought this was a good show for Cadets.

Anyone else notice that this year the black max heads don't look as shiny as they have in years past, it's almost like a black suede head. I notice it most with Phantom but I see it here too

Yeah, the snare feature was rewritten to be a lot simpler than it was in early season.
Those are some ugly uniforms. Cool dancing though. smh

As with everyone who makes comments like this, if you don’t like what you see then go teach a world class corps and make a better product. That may sound rude but I’m genuinely being serious. If you think you can do it better then by all means go make the product you want to see. And if you aren’t qualified to be on a world class staff then maybe there’s a reason why some are pissing into the wind from behind a computer screen and others are actively a part of the community and innovating. I’m sorry if that’s rude or sounds like I’m gatekeeping but it’s one thing to say you think the uniforms are ugly and another to talk down to them for what you call “dancing” as if to take away from the quality of performance they’ve achieved. Stuff like that says a lot more about the people making the comments than the performers themselves.
@@adrums_897 I'm not sure if you know how this works, but show designers are generally mindful of the audience when they selecting their uniforms. I, being part of their audience and experienced in the marching arts, am allowed to react to their design. Therefore, I am 100% within my role to judge these uniforms as pretty wretched and cringe worthy.
Also, the ability to dance and play drums takes a lot athleticism and talent. It's a shame that the ugly uniforms distract from said talent.
TalkShowHost That’s a very sophisticated answer for a troll. The fact that you back peddled on your back handed compliment “Cool dancing though. Smh” (a common joke from old people yelling at clouds and keyboard judges) to now frame it as you praising their athleticism and also you commenting “7th” several times throughout the comments to mock their placement says everything anyone needs to know. Talking about how you think their uniforms are ugly? That’s perfectly fine. Mocking their placement and making troll comments about their “dancing” (and worst of all not standing by what you said). Well again, that says a lot more about you than the performers. Critique away, just be mature about it my friend.
