So excited to finally start digging into this project. I can't believe that stock system weighed in at 23 lbs! We will be installing the titanium Termignoni system next so stay tuned! Enter to win this bike here: www.patreon.com/campisicustoms
Still really missing Dado. Not hating on your new mechniac but I think next build you need to look for a private bike garage with a mechanic you can really bond with. This one was a bit of a bore to watch.
I think it will improve with time. It actually takes a lot of stress off me having the work done at an authorized ducati shop. I understand it might not be as entertaining for you guys BUT we will be doing lots of other stuff on the channel aside from the builds so that should fill in the gap.
Thanks for the quick heads up on your filming/audio set-up. I'm one who finds it interesting, especially the audio quality on the road not overwhelmed by wind noise, the speech is always clear as.
Good Job! I actually laughed pretty hard at the beginning when you said you won't have to touch any of the headers installing the exhaust, I remembered back to the Arrow exhaust install on my xDiavel S a month ago and knew you and Trevor were in for a world of hurt once you got to that point. Can't wait to see the rest of the build!
Can't believe how much work that was to change the end can! Sorry CK is feeling poorly, and hope she gets better soon, but you need to remind her she's very lucky because she's never had man flu!!
Dude I’m still rocking the hero 3+ black with the go pro back pack and my sena 20s. It works so well, I don’t see any reason to change the setup other than video quality. And like you said, 1080 with 60fps is good enough!
Well no you can’t see my video as I didn’t record one. Why would someone cut theirs off? Did you take off all those parts when you recorded your install? Link please.
On the next episode Jaret will be showing us how to put air in the back tire; Sneak preview as follows...first you have to take off the headlight so you can reach the front bolt that locks down the main bolts of the handlebars. Then, after removing the handlebars you can access the forward bolt on the gas tank, remove the tank. Next, with the gas tank out of the way, you can loosen and remove the front seat so you can start to access the engine. When the engine is removed you can access the chain, removing the chain allows you to remove the guard and then you can reach the nipple to put air in the back tire. Since it is a Ducati, allow three days to put air in the back tire, the front is only an 8 hour process and only requires the removal of the front fork and radiator. LOL Dado this guy is NOT.
JC,I'm still a fan of your build series, missing seeing your dad and Dado and dozer!suggestion-would you ever consider setting up a work space at your home and you and Christina(spelling) do the wrenching?
Harley de beer we have thought about trying some wrenching ourselves BUT I have zero tools so that would be a pretty big initial investment. Also teens and I don’t really enjoy wrenching all that much. I feel much safer knowing things are being done right by a certified master Ducati tech
Great weight drop for sure. The Termi sounds GREAT, I just don't know if I'm on board yet with the looks. I love the look of the stock can, just WAY TOO QUITE. It's defiantly growing on me, the stock can makes the bike like hybrid quite. Excited to see it on your bike bro.
@@JaretCampisi The stock can is just way to quite. I just don't know if I am on the wagon all the way with the looks yet, but it is for sure growing on me because this stock sound isn't cutting it.
Don't let let this go to your head but had a dream you guys came to my house hung out in my garage and went to our local casino by the way you thought it was funny and pulled the fire alarm. It was so weird because in my dream it seemed like you guys were like movie stars LOL
I hope the new exhaust isn't too loud. They have that new $1000 fine in California. I'm not really sure how that law applies to motorcycles, though. It doesn't matter to me, though. I'm here in Pennsylvania where everything has not been found to cause cancer. I have hope Christina feels better.
From what I read they are mainly looking for people who chop an exhaust off completely or use straight pipes. They aren't looking for high end ducati's with factory made exhaust systems so I think we will be fine :)
I’ve been a subscriber for quite a few years. I love your work. This is my most favorite project build from you so far. I would love to get an XDiavel. I’m currently riding a 2017 MV Agusta Dragster 800rr. My question is would you be able to remove the silencers from the stock exhaust on the XDiavel?
no I don't see a way to use the stock system and remove the silencers because its all build into one giant unit. Great bike by the way man I've always wanted to ride one of those.
Wow it's a modern bike, that's for sure. Like when car engine bays got so tight and crowded they became a pain to work on. Still an awesome bike but DIY work looks like it might be a huge pain!
My take as a top m/cycle mechanic, is it has nothing to do with lack of rear space wriggle room, it`s to do with the conflicting angles L-configuration Ducati motor headers create as fitted into the cat box , hence having to slacken them at the cyl heads to get enough freeplay to overcome this.
its not a new law. Take some time to read it and you'll see nothing has changed except now they can give you an actual ticket on the spot instead of just a fix it ticket. That is the only difference.
The dynamic between you and that old guy is a bit... Non existing. He basically just responds with a "eh yea".. Why not let the other guy who built the panigale work on this?
Dado had to stay in Pennsylvania when we moved to California and even if we did stay we wouldn't have been able to continue builds with Dado as it was taking up too much of his time.
Jaret...Excellent video. I've got a '16 XDiavel S. It came with the Termi system and upmap already loaded. I was just on the www.diavel-forum.com today (I'm a member with a bunch of posts & threads) and one of the topics I was commenting on today was a Termi swap. I posted a link to your TH-cam channel and a screenshot of you & your bike in the shop. I'll be following your progress (I think some of the other guys on the forum will be also now). I'm looking forward to your follow-up videos of the Termi system installation and what you think of it before/after. Will you put the bike on the dyno to see what the difference makes?
Where's SerpentZA? When the music started I was expecting him to come into the shot ! Who else thougth the same? Jarrod, do get in touch with SerpentZA and do a bike-tuning-video together!:-)
mclaren bourne those new laws are more for people without pipes completely or using straight pipes. There are a lot of things on the road that are way louder than the new exhaust so I don’t think we will have an issue
I’ve liked the last few series, but it seems as though this will never be as entertaining. 15 minutes to watch an exhaust be taken off? All in all quite boring 🤷♂️
@@JaretCampisi turn your garage into a workshop and get another mechanic to work on your bikes. This dude is very knowledgeable but he looks like he does not like cameras around while working lol.

Ahhh i miss teens and jaret and the garage time with beautiful bikes. You know what they say all great things has to come to an end but that doesn't mean I cannot visit them for some salt content in California!
I feel like taking all that shit off the bike was totally unnecessary. Looks like you coulda just removed the rear wheel and had plenty of room to grip and yank on the muffler.

Aw, Teens , feel better hon , you the best , love you kiddo , ❤️🌹
