It can be fully submerged in water up to 1m deep for about 5-10 minutes. Not recommended but, this means taking it for a shower and putting it in the bathroom or using it in the rain won't cause any harm. If you have the charge port etc. Closed ofcourse
i personally have a link 20, and instead of being a yes man imma tell you the truth. -The bass is poor, and at high volumes the overall sound quality is pretty bad -the battery indicator is wildy incorrect at all times -if you dont use it for a while you have to set it up from google home over and over again. There is literally nothing redeeming about the link 20 other than it being a smart speaker, which isnt even speaker specific its just google assistant.
@@arvi8843 my suggestion is go for a big speaker if you dont care about having a smart speaker. if you get one of these small speakers itll be cool for a couple weeks and then it wont be enough. i personally have a partybox 100 and things a beast, no complaints so far.

The speaker starts up rather slowly: 30 seconds to operating mode after pressing the power button - kinda annoying. I mainly connect my phone/laptop to it using Chromecast. Note that JBL does not update these boxes - the Chromecast version is very old and every time you connect your phone, it warns that the speaker is "not optimized", probably because the version is so old. Works nonetheless. USB charging port is microUSB, which is kinda ancient and I really hope it would be USB-C like all the other gadgets nowadays. Haven't really used the original charger, using laptop charger instead.
I want this for the bathroom when shower is on. The Google assistant on my Huawei phone doesn't work at a well over the sound of the shower. Does the voice assistant on either of the portable jbl links fair any better?

just got a link 10 for 59.99, and a link 20 for 79.99......for myself, the 10 for a gift exchange for my cousin. its way better than the 40$ pos bluetooth i got off amazon and a great deal for a google assistant etc equipped speaker, that works via wifi so i can save my phones battery too
