FYI-I actually have vanilla Fallout 4 owned and installed on Steam. I also bought and installed Fallout 4 on GOG and downloaded Fallout London there. Although it takes hard drive space, you can have duel installations of Fallout 4 on your PC if you want to be able to play both.
I played for 8 hours yesterday, manually added a couple mods for load times and stability and its runs like a dream, sub 5 second load times almost everywhere, and runs smooth at 60 fps. I have had 1 crash, just after a train, skipping the cut scene as soon as i could got me through the hiccup. and i have the occasional clothing glitch with stretched textures, but unequipping and reequipping solves that when it happens. The world is beautiful, sound and ambiance is excellent. Voice acting is some of the best from a mod i have seen, and up there with the base game. Its hard, playing on survival personally, it has very tense moments. Its been a great time so far, cant wait to see what else London has in store for me.

I also downgraded with their software before all of that. I have a rtx 2070 with a ryzen 9 5900x and 16gb of ddr4 ram. Running mostly everything on high with all of the boxes ticked for the graphics settings at 1440p.
I'm surprised Bethesda hasn't shown more interest in this game and the team of devs behind it because that's what it is. Technically a "mod" but after two solid days of gameplay and exploring this massive and incredibly alive world space, I can assuredly say it is a game of it's own and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. It's a new Fallout game, I don't care if people disagree just because these people don't work for Bethesda. I'm having an absolute blast with this title, albeit after a bit of tinkering to make it run smoothly, and Team Folon have utterly stolen my heart. I feel like a teenager discovering Fallout 3 again for the first time but even better which is just mind-blowing. I personally think Bethesda owes the Folon team something due to how many copies of fallout 4 have been purchased since FOL's release. At the very least, it would be really cool for them to show some appreciation or gratitude for the amazing work these volunteers have done to keep their franchise relevant outside of the series, seeing as they won't pump out Fallout 5 for like at least 10 more years. In conclusion, Fallout is my favorite franchise since the isometric days of 1, 2, and tactics and Fallout London is simply incredible. I just really wish Bethesda would acknowledge it more.

At the beginning in terminal messages there's no link between Vault-Tec and whatever it is called in London. The lore is American plane crashed, local tech wizard got Pip-boy, considered it impractical to wear on the sleeve as it affects targeting, made homebrew eqivalent called Atta-boy to be worn on the belt so that hands are free

@@MegaMjjordan No it's the script extender actually that makes it impossible for consoles, for what it's worth I haven't been able to get the mod to run properly without issues, first attempt it nearly burned out my pc for some weird reason and second attempt I had crash after crash after crash... I'm also not the only one with major issues as there are many folks having problems.
I'd actually consider playing this, having gone back to 4 around the time of the fallout show. However, my only reason I won't be playing it is its PC only due to the size
@cococock2418 Yes, PCs are more powerful. I play games on a gaming laptop, but it's not as comfortable tiny little screen, but it does the job. Give me my ps5 instead, and I'm a lot happier. Also, I own Fallout 4 already on my playstation. I wouldn't be up for buying the same game again when there are a bunch of good games currently coming out

I recommend this mod/dlc. I haven't finished it yet. I've played a few hours and damn it is pretty good. It's exceeded my expectations. By comparison, it's like playing Fallout New Vegas after Fallout 3.
Nah, there are a lot of glitches and bugs, aside from the crashes. I love the mod, but, there are also some genuine criticisms that I hope fans will address, so the people who make it, can make it even better.
You have to load some mods to cause less crashes, the mod you want is buffout, it will cause less crashes but it won’t completely stop the crashes. I already experienced a couple but it didn’t hinder my experience.
It's weird because a massive part of the fallout series IS is early cold war era Americana. That's the whole environment, the vibe, so trying to pull off a fallout game without the classic art styles could end up being very strange. But maybe they could sell the Idea that because Vault Tec went worldwide, the style spread.
This mod has been in the works since 2015 and they finally got it out in 2024 so I will be checking it out. I don't need any spoilers so I won't be watching this whole video just a few seconds or so of that intro.
Wouldn't be surprised if this just like Fallout New Vegas by Obsidian Entertainment would be a better Fallout experience then what Bethesda has done so far.
I bought FO4 GOTY to play this. Had to ask for my money back because the game/mod ran really shitty. It was like FPS was locked to movement. High FPS areas had insane fast movement, open areas with lower fps and I was running like a snail.
Yeah nothing more awesome then releasing a mod on GOG. Making your directions on your page wrong and missing information. Also the fact that for some reason these guys decided to make a Fallout Downgrader that requires you to give it your Login information for steam... These guys had a lot of potential and are already squandering it.
Well. for me the weapons were a huge turn down. im all in for the scrap guns, old timer weapons, future weapons and etc. Not a huge fan of melee weapons tho.
The game is literally on sale for like 5 bucks on pc. If you aren’t willing to spend 5 bucks to get access to real mods (not the garbage ones on console), you’re only hurting yourself

Buffout 4 helped. And a mod called long loading times fix also helped, manually Installed. The game runs smooth as butter for me now
