Balic is better passer no doubt about it, amazing talent, but Karabatic is better because the level of offense and defence is never seen before. He can play both. Thats where he is better, end there is no one to compare with in this category. So at the end again, Balic is talented more in a creative way, but the fact that Nikola can be best offensive player, and play best defence in the same game, that puts him above, also Nikola won everything numerous times.

Croatian dad and Serbian mum, and he grew up in France and he is French. He could legitimately play for one of these three countries. His choice and he is amazingly successful.
It depends what are you looking for in players...is it medals and MVP awards or something else.. Balić has joke in his game like Ronaldinho in football...and i enyoj when im watching that kind of players..that kind of players are not playing only for him self or team his playenig for as..becouse of that ..RESPECT..also...Balić before he started training handball he traned basket ball at his yonger age
