When I get into my JL (not often son just got his license) after driving my Raptor I hate it for a few miles , then I warm up to it . They really need to fix the sloppy steering in the JL ! Love the cut bumper. Time to get the saw out !

I LOVE my stubby bumper, when wheeling it gives me a much better approach angle.
You could have bought a factory still bumper pretty cheap many people are selling them because they replace them with aftermarket bumpers I love my factory steel bumper that's the way to go

I did something similar to my Jl Sport. I removed all the metal inserts out of the inside and built a temporary stubby out of it.

Power boards kill switch. For when I don’t want the running boards to drop down or if I have my doors off since they are triggered by magnets in the door jams

lol I don’t know if I could bring myself to cut up a brand new jeep. I mean I have cut up old jeeps.. Just easier to justify cutting up an old jeep I guess, like way easier for me anyways😂 But hey it actually didn’t come out bad tho! Block of the sides like you said and I’m sure it’ll look perfectly fine for the time being👍🏼

Again, I explain this in the video. I tried to put the bumper out there but nobody wanted a stock bumper that wasn’t a steel one. I do have a new road armor bumper on the way so this was just a fun video

Lots of good affordable bumpers out there......mines a EVO quarter pounder for the JL with a added stinger.............plastic cut just looks cheap and fugly! Honestly it's nothing like the Jeep steel bumper.....what were you thinking? Go ahead and spend the money don't do this!
