How did you cover the sides of the cut bumper?

I’ve seen the end caps that require the cut to be 3.5 inches out. I like where he made his cut better but would like an end cap. Anyone know of an end cap that would work with where he made his cut?

They don't make one because if you cut it where this genius did you're cutting off the metal mounting brackets and there will literally be nothing but the fog light wires holding the bumper to the jeep. You seriously just watched the guy ruin his bumper. And the bracket to hold it on, now if he buys a new bumper to fix his screw up he has absolutely nothing to bolt it onto because he cut it off. All bad.

@@justabouthadit5872you have to be brain dead. No he didn’t ruin anything the mounting bracket is 2 nuts 1” inch away from the from or if your looking from the front of the jeep it’s close to the hooks. When you drop out a jeep front bumper you literally have less than what this dude cut off. Why don’t you go watch and see the million videos of guys replacing bumpers with shorty bumpers. You’ll see how dumb you are

Furthermore, had you left 6 or 8 inches of the FRONT part attached you could have used a heat gun and folded it back to cover the gaping side wounds that look absolutely horrible now. But to each their own, you wanna ruin your car, chop it up with a saws-all, you're free to do so. 'Merica!

“Ruin”? It’s literally a bolt on bumper that can be replaced in under an hour and dirt cheap.

Looks better. Why drill two holes at the end?

To put screws in to secure plastic bumper cover to steel bumper frame.

Weird. I couldn’t tell the difference between the “music” and the saws all.

Looks ugly both ways lol! But I'm going to do it to help with 37s on my 2020 until I get a bumper

I don’t like the little bumper that’s left. I like how much more open it is though.

Would have looked better if you'd have put on caps.

Nice job, you just cut the entire mounting point off the jeep. Now the only thing holding the bumper on it the wires that go to the fog lights. Notice it flopping around at 4:35. It's literally just sitting on the jeep. Don't do this to your jeep, people, be smart.
