Thank you for posting this! Been growing my hair and wanting to get it trimmed but didn't want to have to pay for a few mm off. Tried it and its worked! Split ends are gone and it's not cost me anything. Going to look for some proper scissors now so I can keep on top of it! x
looks so professional!! I just tried your tutorial and am amazed that I did okay!! I saved $140! I learned to color my own hair as well. this covid thing has made me reassess everything now. I can do so much myself and save time travelling to and from salons which has been stressful & time consuming. thanks so much!! a great video!!
I’ve just tried this and my hair has turned out so nice! I was a little apprehensive about cutting the layers too short, so only trimmed them a little. Now o know this works, next time I’ll cut the layers a little shorter. Thank you ❤️
I have thick, wavy hair and used your technique today...it worked like a charm! Gonna go back and try adding some layers in a few days I think, but I'm really happy with the result. Haven't had a haircut in at least 18 months, and covid lockdowns mean I know I can't get in to a stylist for a while yet. So...TH-cam here I come, and your video was perfect! Thanks!
I've been cutting my own hair at home too but I love seeing other ideas. This has to be the most beautiful tutorial ever! I'm in love with the cut and style!
This is amazing and so simple. The trick is to go little by little. I dust my hair with this technique every 2 months or so. Keeps everything so healthy and beautiful.
LOVE that i’ve finally found a genuine , sweet, red headed youtuber ☺️i’m a red head myself and i like to see how others do their makeup, fashion and hair.
Auburn / red hair is so striking & amazingly beautiful. I think many girls are jealous of that natural colour! Not everyone can pull it off, but those that do, are out of this world beautiful
I actually cut my own hair with your video! I was a little afraid to cut my front hair, so it looks too long, and I will try again in a week or two (but my hair looks good already). Your video was really useful, thank you very much, Rosie
Im always amazed when people with straight hair blow dry there hair. Like doing that and it looking nice is impossible for me, turns into a big curly fluff ball
Okay so I messed up my hair with another tutorial, then I tried this one as a last resort and even though it took some time... I LOVE IT. I was so scared I would mess it up but I’m so happy! You’re an angel thank you💗
I am cutting my hair by my self since 2010 and I like it very much. The reason why i cut my hair by may self is because i was at a salon and the person who cut my hair destroied it.
looks amazing!! is that technique how you cut your long fringe/short layers at the front? would love to know how you did it because I want that kind framing hair!x
I LOVE THIS VIDEO👏🏼She did the steps slow but not that slow , which I love because I’m a slow learner. But this is the hairstyle I’ve been looking for and she showed all the moves so good and steady. ❤
I've been cutting my own hair for two years now, and use pretty much the same technique haha. While watching your video I remembered the first time I did it... It was a disaster and took me SO much long to even the ends. Not anymore tho! Now I need no more than 15 minutes and I am done 😂 This video of yours also got me thinking when was the last time I cut my hair and the answer is, more than 7 months ago. I guess tomorrow I am gonna give myself a makeover ahaha
Love this! I've been looking for a new way to cut my hair that would give it a subtle swoop or straight in the back. Every other video i've seen has been for a dramatic V or is a very complicated process.
Just happened to stumble across this video and have to say thank you I love the technique you used for cutting, blow drying and styling. I ended up using it all and will def be using this technique for cutting and the styling portion together and separate from now on it made it so incredibly easy and I love how it turned out.
That turned out really well. I have always cutting my hair by myself since they screwed it once at a hair dresser salon when I was 13. My way of cutting is pretty much similar to yours. The only difference is that I do not have these bangs and also when I am making the layers, I do not push up the hair that high. The rest is same. And I love your look, your color too, and thank you for this video! I think it is very helpful.
The final result was amazing! Going to follow this one for my next cut ❤ I followed a different one and I ended up thinning out my length too much :( but yours came out perfect and can’t wait to try it
The best tutorial I found! I used to cut my hair like many TH-cam tutorials and it's the flipping hair upside down, doing a ponytail and then cutting but I was sooooooo much more satisfied when I did it like you. It's not some random cutting but very organized. And it looks just so neat! Thank you!!! ♥
Thank you for this! I haven’t had a hair cut for ages and desperate as it’s way too long but all the salons are booked up this month post lockdown, this will save me! Cheers
Really good job. Your a natural at these things. I’d like to try this myself (if my 6 month old little boy will allow me the time) I cant go wrong, nothing to loose, I’ve got too much hair, and I believe that really long hair looks ratty on me too but for some reason I keep it lol. You look so refreshed.
I tried it! It worked and looked better than anything any hairdresser has done. The only issue I had is that it was more of a V than a scoop and I didnt know how to get around it so my husband ended up helping me make it more scooped from the back.
This is the best tutorial for cutting your own hair I’ve watched. Thank you! I’ve never cut my own hair before out of fear of it going all wonky donkey! I followed you and I’m so happy with the result. ❤️
Your haircut turned out so nice, Rosie! 💓Thank you for sharing! I chopped my hair yesterday pretty blunt. So now I want to put in some layers into it and you video explanation makes it seem easy and doable, so I'm going to try your method. All other videos I watched about layers, sound a bit scary to do yourself. Love your simple method. Will have to try it. Thanks again and have a beautiful day, Rosie! 🌸
You have the absolute best hair. The colour and texture...so beautiful
she has awful hair lol the only good thing is color

I’ve tried so many hair cutting videos. This has worked the best.
Omg looks so good! Like a professional. If i did it on me it would look a mess
Thank you!! I’m sure it wouldn’t x

Fuck 140??!! The have salons around me thatll do it for like 20 and do a color hair cut combo for 70ish depending on hair type
The salons in the Netherlands will ask 140 for just cutting the tips of your hair
Oh my, 140?? In cali for washing and cutting your hair it’s 20 dollars 🧍🏽♀️
I’ve just tried this and my hair has turned out so nice! I was a little apprehensive about cutting the layers too short, so only trimmed them a little. Now o know this works, next time I’ll cut the layers a little shorter. Thank you ❤️

I have watched so many DIY videos for layering hair and yours is the BEST. Thank you 🙏🏻
Wow this is GENIUS? Thanks for sharing!
P.s. Aw, the little squeak in the end.
Im always amazed when people with straight hair blow dry there hair. Like doing that and it looking nice is impossible for me, turns into a big curly fluff ball
CheerUp2 same 😂
When I blow dry mine it's just incredibly flat and ugly lol
You should watch the korean way to blow dry your hair they have an amazing way to keep it flat
Use a diffuser the heat makes curls fluff up.
@@zamiaramirez1390 what is a diffuser?

so you did that hair well? because I messed up my hair too...
Rosie you really are a gorgeous girl but you're such a lovely, kind and bright person too. It's always a joy to watch your videos!
This is the first video I saw on your channel. And I just love your hair. 😍
La Ale This one is my second one the first one was her cutting her hair as well from two months ago 🙂

Thank you soooo much for this video! I just cut my hair following your exact steps and I’m in love with my end result. Just amazing 🙌🏼
looks amazing!! is that technique how you cut your long fringe/short layers at the front? would love to know how you did it because I want that kind framing hair!x
I tend to have the scissors facing the ground open and sort of trim down giving a tapered look to them. Don’t know if that makes much sense x
I LOVE THIS VIDEO👏🏼She did the steps slow but not that slow , which I love because I’m a slow learner. But this is the hairstyle I’ve been looking for and she showed all the moves so good and steady. ❤
Did you get the U shape in the back?
I've been thinking about cutting my own hair for a while and now I'm gonna have to - thanks for the inspo!!

First, you're beautiful and very calm and understandable.
