Kali does not fight clean. You can poke the eyes, kick the balls, etc. the only rule in Kali is first to avoid fighting, and if you have to fight, win at all cost. Meaning fight dirty.
If a guy on the street wants to beat you up or kidnap you, you can either allow yourself to be stabbed, kidnapped, or crush their eyes, for example. It doesn't even have anything to do with apfsport. When we train Kali, we don't crush our eyes just to practice. But if your life is at stake, you might want to consider doing it, whether you're proficient in kali, juijitsu, karate, or none of that.

I find it ironic that in your video you remark on how dangerous and brutal kali is. Meanwhile, the BJJ practitioner has the kali guy in a hold that you initially described as impossible to get out of, and that, if applied with sufficient force, could render the kali guy unconscious. Having practiced kali myself for several years, I tend to embrace the mindset that there is no "nice" way to defend yourself from a life-threatening attack. Sometimes you simply have no choice but to injure or be injured; kill or be killed.

We cannot compare true killing martial art to a martial art that use for competition.. even me I can get out every situation bjj is giving as long as no rules.. so competition wise bjj is the best.. but in real combat that has no rules I prefer Kali.. but I think it is very nice if u combine both in real life combat..

Dont use kali in sports it was usely used in bangsamoro in hand to hand combat only 45 can stop that dont keep close to kali practioner that is not good for sports it makes you easy to live in prison accidentally

His hand/arm close to his face prevents any chocking attempts. He is controlled but not knockout, so he's free to do those damage.
I think Kali is an unlimited artistic fight for survival, very dangerous... that's why the ones who studied this mostly are from armies.
