Yes, it is one of the very important customs and traditions also when we build our homes, we make the guest reception rooms very large, so they take up more space than the house, so our bedrooms are small compared to the guest reception rooms and is also a room designated only for guests if they want to stay and sleep
I am from Saudi Arabia, this passage is correct, but it is not only a Bedouin culture, but in our religion, we must honor the guest, and in our house we have a special room for the guests, and we must honor them at least for three days, and everyone is welcome
Why don't you try react to other Arabs. All i've seen is you reacting to middle eastern people There is Sham countries (Lebanon, Syria...) And North Africans too (Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia...) and they're REALLY different compared to middle eastens In culture, tradition, clothing and dialect These are NOT the only arabs
Its in the Bedouin culture as of historic events. When there were passengers through arabian lands. Arabic people, even with the least ability to help and them being poor, they were hospitable and do the best they could to make the travelers relived from the exhaust of travelling. It's passed down through generations and they don't do it out of them being rich and flexing it. Like I said it is a tradition passed down from times were they were the most people suffering on earth in the desert. But desert harsh atmosphere made them strong, bearing, poetic and artistic even, men and women of strong manners, and hospitable generous traditions.
@@chairforce664they r not decreasing and not increasing as well, and i hope continues to those kind of cultures coz its make you different from other cultures and even revals your kindness to the world .
This tradition is for travelers coming from afar. It comes from the old days when travelers go through months in the desert until the arrive at their destination. Of course, traveling is dangerous in general but it is especially dangerous in the desert with the heat and lack of food and water. So people welcome travelers in their homes for three days to eat, drink and rest until they settle down or move on with their journey
The prophet of Islam Mohammed (PBUH) commanded us to take care of any stranger that come to our home, we should feed him, give him water, shelter for 3 days maximum
It's an old bedouin costom that nowadays is not very popular Yeah we are generous, we like to treat our guests as the number one priority, we do fight to pay instead of each other ect but welcoming a complete stranger for 3 days nowadays is a bit exaggerated coz is not safe as it used to be in ancient ages
Algerian people are known to be very veryyy generous with people especially tourists, they are very welcoming and friendly , you should come visit Algeria, the biggest country in Africa❤
Yes We never ask why you are here ..with the gist if he talk his self it's ok if he don't we don't ask cause maybe he think we want to know when he will leave
The three days hospitality is an old habit in the Arab Bedouin who were living in desert beacause it will be a big Shame if they did not welcome a stranger who come to their home
Simply it's Islam Even if we don't have lunch for today, even we are so poor, guest is first We should smile even our life is not going the way we want, we should smile even if we don't know the person we are smiling to, 'cause there is no reason to make people sad or angry like you, give them hope! We give people greetings even if we don't know, they are human beings and they'll feel more affection If there are people understand the human beings feelings, so they are Muslims, and arabs especially, 'cause kindness with strangers is running in our blood
I am Saudi and I am surprised by whom I saw. This is not true. We honor the guest. He does not enter the house for no reason. This is a source from his brain. 🤨
