Episode 89 // International A Class // Like The Wind
Next up, we have the Like The Wind series, a set of three high speed events. The first event takes place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the second is at the Special Stage Route 7, and the third and final event is at the Special Stage Route X. This marks the only appearance of these two tracks in career mode events (SSRX appears in some License Tests). For this set of events and the GT World Championship I bought a Nissan R92CP, a group C race car that is a perfect fit for this event. While a hypercar like a Veyron would work fine for the Special Stage Routes, it cannot corner well enough to win at Indy. Conversely on SSRX, the R92CP would struggle to win without the big turbo as the road cars are otherwise faster there.
