Sure is a long flight. I had to do YYZ-YUL-FRA-BAH-BKK just as things were reopening in Thailand. A nightmare itinerary but it was all in business class, so not terrible.
Hope to go back one day.

@@Finding-Fish I actually got to fly in first class HND-JFK on JAL on my return, so that was really something.
Nice. People complain all the time about airplane food. I also loved flying to Asia and some flights actually got 2 meals they were so long. It was great. Thailand 30 days 2000 can certainly be done, and in style in a way. You will see (and I'm sure now that you've been there for quite some time) that there are many little boutique hotels all over the place you can get for excellent prices. I was paying about $30-40 for hotel rooms, and then paid a little more for a few days in a ridiculously fancy hotel room that would cost $300-$400 in Canada. Food is easy. Eat Thai food. You can eat for $3 - $10 very well. I went pre-pandemic, and it seems like exchange rate is now in the favour of Canadians. It was .04 when I went, so that sim card 1000 would have been $40 back then. You said it was $35, so that means thai baht is around .035 CDN or 3.5 cents. I hope you get a chance to see the North (Chiang Mai), but I think in another video you said you were going mostly to Islands etc in the south.
On the flight we had main meal and snacks/ both flights

I fly to Shanghai a lot, the worse part of the who trip is the flight lol, BTW ANA is a great airline in my opinion, the service anyway,

That's a long day. I use to go twice a month calgary to Cairo for about three years....don't think I could do it now LOL!! I always wanted to tour Asia. Maybe this will spur me on to do it.

I booked that flight about 2 months before departure but I’m constantly looking at flights
When you did your transfer did you have to retrieve your bags or did they do that for you? In between flights I mean.
I took a Carry, I didn’t want anyone to lose my Bag, Incase of Delays or Issues with Flights.
What do u do so you can afford to go and take so much time for a lot of travel?
