It is so heartwarming to see you so genuinely making every effort to speak our language. You come across as so genuine. Thank you for taking time to learn the languages and experience real life in the Philippines.

So proud of you Sir Kurt. Feeling perfect. Good job ka talaga. Stay humble and God bless.❤ ❤❤
Hello Kuya Kurt..new subscriber from California 👋🏼 I’m Filipino born in USA and after listening to you speak Tagalog with nearly perfect pronunciation and diction, I realize I need to step up my Tagalog game! I am thoroughly impressed with how knowledgeable and respectful you are of the Filipino culture and your appreciation for the food. You have totally captured my interest and now I’m binge watching your channel😁 Safe travels & Mabuhay!!
Your Tagalog accent is so adorable to listen to;, you are more Pinoy than most of us native speaker. So impress talaga, your choice of tagalog words are impeccable.
nakakakilig talaga para sakin pag may foreigner na alam magtagalog para sakin or any local languages in the philippines and i find it very respectable for them to commit on learning our languages. maraming salamat kuya kurt you truly are a filipino by heart.
Chicken adobo (Adobong Manok) - adobo food is almost popular, and those who have tried it probably knows what it is. And the ingredients of what you eat must be, onion, garlic, pepper corn, ground pepper, dried bay leaves, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, chicken. Chicken Curry - it's a dish with salty flavor comes from the curry powder. All the basic spices are in this dish, and the main ingredients are chicken and curry powder. Soup - Soups are free in any karenderya. They sometimes comes from Bulalo, nilagang baboy, tinolang manok, tinolang isda, etc. You may drink it as what you did, but most oftenly we use it to wet the rice to easily eat it without so much effort of chewing the rice.
Your Tagalog is on point and some of it is quite intricate, very well done! Filipino here, left the PH in 99, been in Georgia since. You’ve gained a subscriber, keep on with these videos. Very down to earth, love your videos!
I am so impressed, Kuya Kurt. Not only do you have tagalog down to a "T", but the emotions and diction. A+. If anyone who did not meet you, closed their eyes and listened to you....would definitely say he is Pinoy.
Enjoying eating Filipino food is the best way to immerse into the lifestyle in the country. But Kurt has even gone much farther by speaking the local language to open up conversation with anyone. What an awesome feat by a foreigner. 👍
Iused to live near the SSS building in QC. There was a carinderia beside it that catered to the office workers. If you went in at 11:30 the place was empty and the food was all hot, freshly cooked, and excellent. They made a sinampalokang manok that I've never been able to fully duplicate. Of course at noon a human tsunami would hit the place, but I'd be ready to go by then anyway! I've also eaten in carinderias where the food is a bit "pangat" - as in pangatlong araw" - and that's not so good. Gotta find the good ones.
Free soup is a great feature of Filipino carinderias, especially if you order fried foods that don't have their own sauce. You sprinkle it on the rice, makes it go down easier.
"minumungkahi" ? Oh my god. I think most of the gen z doesnt understand that. hahaha. Lupet! this channel deserve more subs and likes. Kudos to you Kurt!
I am impressed with your Tagalog. I am not sure how long you have been in the Philippines. Very impressive and very proud that you are melting with my peeps.
Man your Tagalog is superior !!!! I love how excited you are for my culture’s cuisine. Excited to see you more interact with these types of food. Have you tried Beef Sinigang or for that matter all types of Sinigang? How bout Kare Kare peanut butter stew? Those are my top two favorites right now !!!!
Lol.... Nothing but love my brother.... But you made me laugh when you sat down with a grunt.... It's the same sound I make when I sit down.... Hahaha....
Wow ! I am both blown away and humbled at the same time with your fluency .. how long did it take you to master Tagalog ? You motivate me to keep trying to learn it .. Appreciate how you are so respectful and considerate to the Filipinos . 🏝️

Galing naman mag tagalog🎉..but typical construction worker will get only 1 viand and the soup..if nakakaluwag, may gulay kasama..pero malamang un 1 ulam lang talaga.
