  • Following a recent review of the existing DFSS process at General Motors, the Operational Excellence team was not satisfied with its use after certification. Furthermore, end-user feedback indicated Green and Black Belts were finding the existing approach for documenting DFSS projects challenging and not user-friendly. As a result, the team set out to find a way to make evidenced-based decision making more obvious and intuitive by configuring the process in such a way that people felt the need to use Auros, as opposed to “having to use Auros”. After about six months of piloting the new Auros configuration, the feedback has been very positive. Brad will share how the evolution to an Assessment-based approach enables DFSS projects to be completed in a more efficient and effective manner.
