I think it was a throw bait more than a burst bait. Happens to me on occasion just because im really grab happy and so when I come across someone who knows to do it, I fall into the trap almost every time
I think it just means they have high placement but not quite in the top 5, in terms of elo placement. The player could have been #1 in Ranked at one point and started playing less, thus just being labeled “Top Ranked” my guess
Ky inputs up up into a Roman cancel, causing a dash RC. This can be done with a back dash or forward dash as well, he then immediately inputs j.s afterwords, causing a fast blue Roman cancel, since j.s for ky is an overhead, and sol is crouching, it hits. It's a pseudo 50 Meter Instant overhead
@@guywithaguitar8521 i thought this was the backdash brc thing. input 66 > backdash > fbrc j.s. doing 99 brc would make j.s whiff because of upwards momentum iirc
That CSE BRC 50/50 Ky has will never cease to amaze me with how its both equal parts cool and dirty as hell.
which one the brc drift overhead or the CSE brc fast fall

Always enjoy to watch ky vs sol in every universe🐧
2:01 when u and ur contender are both careful to each other.
Watching two monsters battle is satisfying, i am surprised by their fast plays...sheesh.
jesus tsurara is so fucking clean with ky ive never seen anyone play him on this level

Instant FD
Instant Block, where they block within 2 frames of the attack connecting. It does that and helps with defending pressure

He also dash blocked ibfd'ed bringing him even closer to ky
@1:49 I got fucking hit!
Churara's practiced the matchup so much that he pretty much has that IBFD punish down to muscle memory holy
First round ended with a tyrant rave i'm satisfied :>

You can see the rank in the video description, this is #16 rated Ky
You can check which ranked they are before the Fight. In this case, Ky is top 16.
I don’t call him Sol anymore I call him mocchi
Jesus Christ. Not one win for Ky. Poor guy. He really deserves it 😞
He won two of the games tho?

Japan players is always good playing this two characters rather than na or eu players using it
