    OG's issue has always been his durability, never being able to consistently play for extended periods of time without getting hurt. Glad to see he's getting his recognition. It's not surprise to long time Raps fans.

      This isn’t true lol. One of the years the raptors were tanking in Tampa, the other year the raptors had multiple Covid outbreaks and were super precautious. On top of that they didn’t have a center along with no bench so he litterally got ran into the ground. Remember the same thing happened to Fred

    Makes me sad that OG never got this recognition previously, he has always been this amazing, a top 3 perimeter defender at a minimum, and should have been a DPOY candidate for the last two years. Goes to show that markets really do impact players perceptions and careers accordingly.

    • @Jabbersac
      @Jabbersac 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      At least he got all-defensive and a few DPOY votes last year, and the year before that he missed about 40% of the season. I think that his injuries explain his lack of awards unfortunately

    • @jojoprocess2820
      @jojoprocess2820 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think its more him going to a good team. Raptors were last contenders in 2019, his sophomore year where he didnt play in the playoffs and was just a worse player. Since then hes played on decent to bad raptors teams while being very injury prone. Now hes on a good team and can get recognition. Although I'm sure knicks media helped somewhat

    Was so happy when we made the trade for OG, excellent versatile and switchable defender, sniper from three especially the corners and he's fit the roster like a glove. Got a personal soft spot for him as well as he was born in an area of London that's a stone's throw away form where I grew up. I love this Knicks team, after so many years of mediocrity, being able to watch this team play hard every game especially on defense and continue to grow and find success for the franchise is a real joy. With the deadline move for Burks and Bogdanovic and players coming back from injury; we definitely have the depth and the pieces to make a deep playoff run.

    Jaclyn Goble was the ref (working under Malloy) who actually made the call. He’s a former Miami-Dade County police officer (who often go on deadly power trips) who went on to became a ref. Plus, he’s also a Miami Heat fan 🤔🤔 Heat-Knicks rivalry 🤔. He’s also the ref who called the flop on Jalen in the game earlier this season v Boston when Tatum closed Jalen out on the late game 3 pointer shot attempt when Jalen landed on Tatum’s foot and fell to the ground. The refs apologized for that missed call as well😤. Goble (Gobble 🦃 ) was also involved in the bad LeBron James no-call last year in the playoffs. Anyway, Goble and Malloy should be reprimanded for their poor officiating. The re-emergence of poor and suspect officiating is another reason why I absolutely hate the fact that sports betting on professional sports has exploded in recent years.

    Can you do a video on defensive systems? Because many of this looked a lot like a defensive version of motion offense, every jab and jump were to force the play in a certain direction but you ALMOST ALWAYS focus only on individual performance and make it seem like is the sole reason for success. There was a time when you released your gsw defense video where you focused more on teams as a whole and it was far more educational but sadly after a pool on what viewers wanted "individual players" won more votes.

    What other teams won't dare do the Knicks will and that's paying often injured non All-stars and max money them OMG y'all better pray he doesn't get injured cuz heads will roll it's just like stoudemire seven years and his team wouldn't max him the team that drafted him which should tell you something it took them seven years to not max him for some players that's a career especially when your basically the same player and after seven years you start getting older and pretty much have reached your ceiling I believe josh Hart is worth more than him and even though he gets injured Mitch leads the NBA in offensive rebounds before getting hurt and he been with us for a while so he gets a pass cuz we drafted him og only been here three months and got injured and I don't care what he did in the regular season damn it was only 29 games and he was dead by the playoffs didn't he miss most of the first round and they still won he came back for the second round and they got eliminated bad resume and he said he would be willing to take less to stay so he is a liar cuz he turned his nose at 35 per for an injured guy that's great but he said no...the nerve. He better not break down or heads are gonna fly or he might get away with it by hiding behind his team mates accomplishments cuz we still can get there without him which they have proven especially now with Bridges here he might not be such a distraction as far as his health goes Amar'e Jr and he better be an all-star cuz 40 per is all-star money but thanks to the cba rules everybody getting paid like all-stars even triple single guys that's right dude averages two points a game and gets three million per lol don't hate the player y'all know the rest
