can Yamaha R-N1000A amplifier can generate enough power to KeF R5 Meta floor standing

The Yamaha you mention is a fine product, although we would not necessarily recommend an amp that is so far from the price of the speaker. What makes the question difficult to answer is that, given two folks with the same size room, one may be totally satisfied with the SPL generated and the overall sound. The other may want a far more powerful and sonically capable amp - and there's no way of knowing which answer applies to any given consumer.

I’m really having a hard time wrapping my mind around any quality product coming from the UK. They’re notorious for producing unreliable products and having quality control issues. I want to believe KEF is different but…

Thank you for your comment. In our experience, the companies that build products in their own factories, rather than farming out the manufacturing to someone els, often have better build quality than most. We've only just started with KEF, but they have a very good reliability reputation with other retailers like ourselves.
