He's one of the "Miami river cops." Google that case. I had no idea, he seemed like a nice, quiet. humble guy. He even drove an old, rusted out 1960's VW beetle.

I was at the mall today walking, I like to call it the seniors tour, anyway I've noticed in the last couple of years going up there a group of mentally challenged young people, I'm assuming from a local hospital or possibly group home l don't really know but I'd like to give their handlers a shout out, maybe it's just a job to them I don't know but I would think it takes a certain amount of compassion to do that kind of work and how good it is that we have people in this world who are willing to do this kind of work 👍!

I'm from Minnesota and My dad is Ojibwe native American so a lot of people he went to school w back in the 70s thought he was Mexican "or something" haha so that became his nickname. Was looking for corrections in these comments. as I always thought his nickname might be Taco because he liked the "Hairy Taco"! No disrespect to either him or your Dad. Your Dad's would make sense due to his native American heritage. I rode a Kawasaki Eliminator for years and in an incident which would take to long to recount, I was with a bunch of buddies on a poker run about 25 years ago and one guy didn't know my name. He wanted my attention, so from the other end of the table in the bar, he called out "Hey, Uncle Ben!" No one got the joke, but I did and he and I laughed our asses off. Everyone looked puzzled as to who Uncle Ben was. It was derogatory but funny. He points and says "him, he rides rice, doesn't he?!" Everyone laughed their asses off and it's been that ever since. You can't choose your nickname, but when a good one comes up, it usually sticks. I even joke and say my Harley is Uncle Ben's Converted Rice!
May they ride in Peace.Although I support 81,I respect these men for who they were,and the lives they led.Taco was a true leader,who kept a tight rein on his Club.
I live in Daytona and a big SYLO supporter these guys and ladies are all cool yes there are some bad seeds but that's in any club nobody's perfect I ha e much respect for the OLs R.I.P to all the lost ones.
You have a little bit of some bad info. 1% ,doesn't mean that clubs engage on criminality. In fact most 1% club members are law abiding citizens who have clean records. 1% simply means that are in an outlaw motorcycle club and even then outlaw is referencing that they are not AMA sanctioned. Not that they are criminals or engage in criminal behavior. Just about every MC bars felons or felony behavior. That is usually an individual issue. The club itself doesn't support violence. That's why many of the federal RICO charges rarely result in a conviction. Its not the club it's the person.
