  • So this time we are replacing the fuel pump and fuel pump relay in my son's 1994 Honda Civic Del Sol. We are not professional mechanics. We are doing what we have to in order to try to fix the car without the costs of a repair shop. This isn't exactly a "how to" but can be if you decide to follow what we did. We are just sharing our adventure of working on this cool car.

When you first noticed the pump go out, did u also notice the click noise go away that usually turns on when the ignition is turned on?

I will ask my son. That was his car. I do know that the issue ended up being the computer (it was old). Someone came along and bought it, heated up the computer board with a heat gun and fired it up. So, I'm assuming the components on the board needed replaced and/or re-soldered.

I just spoke to him - he doesn't remember about the click or how it acted with the issue. Sorry. I wish I had more information.
