St Mary's Lighthouse 12.06.21

A short video of an often overlooked historical attraction that is St Mary's Lighthouse situated just North of Whitley Bay. The small rocky tidal island is linked to the mainland by a short concrete causeway which is submerged at high tide. Sadly the tower is currently closed but the island offers lovely views of the area and wildlife with plenty of seals enjoying the sun on the rocks and children fishing in the rock pools. I have replaced the rather noisy windy audio with a traditional song about the lighthouse on a much less calm day.
