Appreciate the feedback my dude! Trail was unbelievably busy on the weekend, I pulled over on the track, and I had to wait 10 minutes before I could continue, just a constant flow of people, this is 1 downside to building trails this good 🤣 but no big deal, its just great to see so many people having fun!
What’s the verdict? You’d be happy with that for sure. So tempting to buy a Hero 10 just for that natural colour setting. Chin mount is best if running a full face. Just make sure the wind slayer isn’t in the view like mine was last time I was filming 🤦♂️. Sick run man. 🚀👌🏻
Yea the Hero 10 is great. I actually haven't used the wind slayer and internal mics, I have the media mod then an external mic plugged in. Audio from media mod is average but handles wind good, could hear my voice good with visor mount, but testing chin mount you couldn't hear my voice, so I got an external mic which fixed that issue. Believe it or not im still not quiet happy, so i ordered another $45 plug in mic to test. Problem for me is I had a really quality mic for my Hero 4, all im trying to do is match that which I think will be impossible... but audio from camera or media mod is more than adequate
@@KurtisPape sounds good . Will be fun times testing them all out too. Places with lots of exposure and rocks and wind are a challenge for sure. I do notice you hear a lot more breathing with the chin mount which isn’t so great with internal mics. Be interesting to see how it turns out 🤘🏻
@@nigehill for me im very fussy with audio :) maybe im over complicating it, im actually thinking of getting a cheap windslayer for internal mic to try that because many youtubers do that and sounds OK to me
Loving your videos bit jealous cos broke my arm and can’t ride for 3 months Yo should do a video at Belair there are lots of tracks and brick my arm there on Windy’s
Oh bugga. I first started riding at Belair but im a bit loyal to Fox Creek :) I don't ride much else, but I know I have to get out else where and ride some more single track stuff
Man, really need to get myself out there. Been meaning to. Maybe worth a sneaky day of during the week to avoid the crowds. How are you finding the hero 10? I'm running a gopro max which has been great (the Max POV is so good for mtb) but it's starting to show its age.
The Hero 10 is great, the stabilization is so good even on the lowest setting, it can actually make you look like you are going slower! Which is ok because it makes the videos easier to watch. Also the colours are great out the camera
Dude. I have both. I still much prefer the hero view of the gopro max. If I must recommend one camera. It would be the insta360 GO 2. Truly a game changer when it come to riding MTB and editing. Granted the quality is nowhere near as good as the hero 10. But every run is the perfect shot due it’s wide Lens and reframing editing features. Highly recommended
Footage and sound crispy as! That trail looks like a dream 🤙🏼

Yeh went down that final run yesterday. Nowhere near as quick as that. I got older and my balls shrunk.
How long is the trek up from the bottom of orange whip to blue groove ?
shorly go to belair or 80 acres for a vid
😮
