You call those sandals ugly. They're the most beautiful sandals I lay my eyes on.
Yeah, I was never ever a fan of the Newport. All of my friends & family wore them & I thought they were ridiculous. I had a pair of Voyageurs that lasted, well 5 years July 2022, and they are still going strong though the sole is showing wear. So, I bought a pair of boots (Cascadias) and finally decided to try the Newports. Well, after a few weeks of rocking the Newports everywhere & on bike rides, I have the tiger stripes to show my love for them! They are crazy comfortable.
I absolutely love every Keen shoe I own . I have a pair of the Jerry Garcia sandals and I love them. I have had them for 2 years and they look brand new. We must protect this company at all costs.

Just got my first pair of keens and I wondered if they should fit a little more snug? I’m in between sizes. 9-9.5. And I can’t wear socks with a 9

How to clean them and stop them smelling?
Just don’t stop making them until at least 2029, when the second pair of Newports I have just bought (9.5) wear out. The first pair did the Galapagos, Amazonas, NZ Fjordland and a decent chunk of the Australian deserts. They’re now going to do duty as my saltwater kayaking shoes, as they are the only water shoes I trust to come close to stopping stonefish stings in the central Queensland estuaries I often paddle now.
i can name many calling my sandals ugly. they bully me for almost 10 years now. do i care? not really. just ordered a new pair of newport h2

Unfortunately my Newports (back on 2008) only lasted 8 months before the soles delaminated 🤨
Swore off Keen until recently when I got the Targhee III Mocs. I hope those last longer than the Newports.

I suggest looking at the lifetime of any shoe from a distance perspective. It's okay for any shoe to last only one season if you walk a dozen km/miles daily.
I have lived in the desert for 50 years... just got my first pair (Newport leather)... they´re ugly as comfortable as fuck... with 110°F I use them in the office every day w/o socks until the end of summer. ... now I need the triple black H2...
