With how much build up this starkiller has he has potential to be one of the best modern anime villains assuming the author can give a proper payoff to all of this build up.
I think Kana was also included since in 5D stage play, one of the directors say that "people tend to associate her with her crying but this kind of performance that made Kana Arima a household name" "A performance as brilliant as the sun, she's truly a star", kana don't have a star eyes but I think because kana is a star herself and alot of people already said it in the Manga (please don't attack me if you offended 😅😅 only my opinion)

I think Kana doesn't have Star eyes due to a lack of self confidence When Akane imitated Ai, she said that Ai's distinguishing feature was her eyes and wondered if they came from self confidence. So it would be a reasonable assumption that Kanas self-doubt is the reason for the lack of star eyes
i think another reason could also be how kana is really into acting and how she wants those job opportunities. theres so much potential build up that aka can take to put kana in that scenario its just too good to pass up
I really appreciated how Hikaru was revealed in 109. In every panel that featured him (besides the final page) had his eyes closed, which made the reveal much more impactful once we get to the final page and see him with his eyes open revealing that he was in fact Hikaru.
There's no way that was Hikaru was the one who pushed Akane off the stairs. I could have sworn that it was just an old man wearing a shady hoodie. But God damn, you just made me up my guard for my expectations for the next chapters I'll be reading. Nice video btw!

it's not going to be Akane, because akane knows who "the starkiller" is. She knows him, and won't let him close to her. The natural conclusion to this story is for him to target Ruby. Ruby doesn't know exactly who her father is, she just knows he's responsible for Ai's death. Aqua's secrecy will put her in danger.

Now that ruby and aqua found out about each other, it has to be ruby. Then aqua has to seek help from those friends in order to get ruby back safely. Through saving ruby, aqua would finally atone himself for not to be able help Sarina the last time.
@@ZephyrRetrohis is Japanese Manga, the author is Aka and it's Oshi no Ko, something very dark is going to happen in the next chapters. There is a good chance Aka migth pull the same move he did in the beginning and it would be very fitting, that is to either kill Akane or Ruby. Since the plot revolves around revenge, the death of Akane or Ruby, would fuel Aqua's hate, and he would probably trace Kamiki easily because of vestiges left behind, after that, he kills Kamiki and it's done. Most fitting is Akane, because since the plot is almost forcing him to end up with Kana, killing Akane off leaves open room for Kana, and makes more sense than killing Ruby off.

I'm sceptical about Akane being one of Kamiki target, the reason is her star eyes is resulting of mimicking Ai character as the perfect idol. She basically just acting as Ai the perfect idol emotion shell. While the star eyes is basically to selling lies, white star lies to other while black star lying to yourself. But Akane only selling lies when acting or working and not in her daily life like Ai, Aqua or Ruby. The scene with Yura having a star eyes and makes a declaration in chapter 109 page 9 and 10 is the thing that convince me that Kamiki only kill Yura because she having a self doubt that she would achieve all her dream like what she said to him consider deceptive eyes is eye of self doubt and normal eye is eye of self confidence. He killed her because he believe that Yura only believe in half of what she said so killing her in her peak would sort of immortalize her like Ai. Also I believe Kana also would had this deceptive eyes consider her role in Ai biography movie is the B Komachi member who hate Ai. So one way or another she need to selling lies that she hate Ai when portraying that role consider Aqua and Ruby is Ai children and her close friends. Also I think Ruby the only one that fit Kamiki target description consider even Yura only talk about her.
You might be onto something with the white and black eyes meaning. So star eyes are always deception and Hikaru saw that. Ig if this is the case, then Akane could be safe if she’s just copying AI’s staringan and it’s not her own. 🤔 And yeah, I think Ruby really fits the description too. Plus we should remember that Ai first gig in entertainment industry is as an actress in Akane theater troupe and not an idol so obviously she learn how act and portraying this character from there. Also Ai preparation in creating her character or persona of perfect idol remind of how Sir Anthony Hopkins come up with his idea portraying his role as Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lamb. I mean although he took inspiration from other character but he also create and practice how to smile, how to walk, how wide the eyes consider his character although a cannibal but he supposed to be a charming guy to begin with.

That's why every time Akane acting she will swith to Ai persona because Ai persona had her own presence and charisma. But Gotanda, Aqua and Ruby never move by Akane performance during Tokyo Blade arc because they knew Ai was a great liar to begin with.
At this point, I believe the black eyes are the power to make lies seem like truths (just like the producer said) while the white starry eyes simply represent the genuine passion of a star. Ai had both because she was a liar. Her passion was a lie. Her truth self was the black stars. Hikaru is a liar. We don’t know why, but he is. Aqua is a liar. That we know very well. Ruby wasn’t a liar, then she became one, and now she isn’t one once again. Yura Katayose didn’t particularly seem like a liar. Her passion seemed genuine. So it kinda fits for me.
Yura is what set Kamiki to be the antagonist. But i'm always off my seat to know who is his next target ??? Akane, Kana, or maybe even his own flesh and blood daughter Ruby ??? Maybe this is Aqua plan all along...
One of the very few places where we can let loose and not hold back when it comes to this series especially the manga. Man Wednesday is going to be f ing awesome. The season one finale with it ending at chapter 40, the most likely season 2 announcement. The manga chapter and it's "big reveal". Aka stated in a recent interview is that he already has the ending planned out. Still it took a reliable leaker to tell us when Kaguya-sama Love is War was ending, it probably will be the same when it comes to this series. Either way all we have to do is sit back and watch as the good stuff starts to happen in the series.
Wednesday gonna be one of the greatest days for OnK! S1 finale, S2 announcement, and probably the biggest chapter for the series all coming out on the same day! 🔥
That's redundant, he tried to kill akane before on the staircase. And from a writing perspective that's the obvious bait. Kana is written in a way, since the beginning of the story, to be this brilliant actress but she hasn't gotten the opportunity to shine on a grand stage, keeping her away from hikaru's sight and seemingly preference. She's basically been coasting under the radar for the entire series in the entertainment industry. Sure the idol stuff has been successful but it isn't on the level as when Ai was the lead. You factor in that kana is personally connected to both aqua and ruby on a deep personally level. If their dad wants to personally get back at them, because of the movie, that's an added bonus to make them suffer. Plus aqua has, clumsy, tried to protect kana for about half the series, if you take his past trauma of him not protecting/saving Ai and something happens to kana, it's going to get ugly. And finally the color white symbolism. Kana's glow stick is white and it's considered "special" in idol culture. I believe on two occasions we seen white roses in the series. The first is with Ai's death scene and the second was at akane's event, clearly these white roses are his calling card for his next victim. The color white and white roses are symbolic of purity (among other things), in my opinion I believe the white glow stick and white roses are narratively connected. And if you look at the latest volume cover ( vol 11) it's Kana with a rose like dress with white gloves and there's a promotional art (official art) with kana holding a flower to her face, I'm not saying that means anything but man. There's something that draws their father to highly popular (with star eyes) female actress in the industry, if he sees this movie and he sees kana's multi-star eyes, which also extends out from her body, that makes her radiates like the sun, which akane has directly stated, and she finally starts to garner more success and attention I believe Kana might be his next victim. Personally for me there's too much subtext and stuff shown in our face over the course of the series that I can't think of anyone other her.
This is exactly my theory....kana has too many parallels and similiarities with ai and yura, her official color is white, she still isn't famous and kamiki took interest in ai and yura before they became big name, she shines like the sun, she still doesn't know about the revenge,she is easily manipulated, she has a connection with almost every kamiki children(aqua,ruby and taiki)....my theory is that she will be the first one to meet daddy
Reasons why Akane would die: 1) She has the staringan which Aqua's father is targeting. 2) She knows who Aqua's father is. 3) She said she is willing to walk the same path as Aqua. 4) Currently trying to stop Aqua's plan, which likely won't end well. 5) She already planned suicide before. So she ended up dead anyway won't be a surprise.
Honestly I don't Akane will be much of a target, don't get me wrong she's talented and a very famous actress but personally i think Hikaru will most likely go for Kana or Frill. Kana because not only is she extremely close to both Ruby and Aqua, but also because she's extremely talented in many different fields besides acting, and Frill because she is also extremely talented in many different fields. I would say that Ruby and Frill are friends but after Ruby found out about Gorous death she basically ghosted everone and only recently she is working with Kana as she is teaching her acting for the movie. The biggest target can be Kana as, not only is she a star who has similar energy as Ai (how they can both draw anyone in when they perform) but also because she has a very close relationship with the twins, and where Hikaru killed their mother, I don't think that killing their best friend will be hard for him. This is only my opinion tho-
If Kana achieved more notoriety soon, then I think she could definitely be more of a target due to everything else you mentioned. Her death would probably hurt both Ruby and Aqua together the most too.
@@ZephyrRetro It is definitely possible as the movie both Ruby and Kana are playing in could be the boost needed for Kana's fame, like how in the Tokyo blade Kana's popularity rose tremendously. But this is just a theory.
Another thing is, appearance wise, they both are extremely similar. Let me explain; they both of highlights of a lighter colour in their hair, they both have big eyes and both have the same skin colour as well. Now for personality, if you take Kana's sharp tongue away they are basically the same person. How they both do similar moves, how much they care for both the twins, how both of them showed reluctance to join an idol group when scouted, heck even their skill sets are the same, even though Kana has better acting skills. Another thing I'm surprised people haven't pointed out is how easily Kana saw that Ruby was a carbon copy of Ai. When Akane met her, she couldn't tell and she's the same person who researched every single thing about this woman. I feel like Hikaru may kill her even before she rises to stardom because she is too similar to Ai, and being that means that the person is going to be hella famous. Again, just a theory

Since pretty much everything points to Ruby or Akane being the next target… I very much believe Kana is the one he is going after. Kana, the only one amongst the main cast who has never been shown with a starry eye, is the one with the biggest *POTENTIAL* to achieve that. She already shines brightly. She’s one of the few people who was actually able to make Aqua look her way without explicitly mentioning Ai or being similar to her. Plus, Aqua is very clearly trying to convince himself that he only sees Kana as a tool, even when he quite obviously doesn’t. So my guess is that Hikaru will attack Kana, not only forcing Aqua to recognise his love, but also pretty much making him loose his cool once and for all. Dude might actually give up on his revenge because of it. The outcome would be similar if Hikaru went after Ruby, but at this point, I think Aqua’s reaction would be a little different if Ruby were the target. With Kana, he would get desperate. He would loose his cool. He would break once and for all. With Ruby, having lost once more the person who represents the continuation of the two people he so desperately tried to save, Aqua would pretty much just spiral even further into his revenge and actually want to kill Hikaru even more. He would have nothing more to lose and his ideology would be entirely validated. Plus, considering the events of 123, with Ruby back with her starry eyes and the crown-loli warning Aqua that this was a bad move, it’s also possible Hikaru will target her and Aqua will blame himself for making Ruby a star once again. So yeah, anyways, from a story telling perspective, I doubt Akane will be the target. The flowers are just bait. For the better or for the worse, Aqua simply cares more about Kana and Ruby, so these two would get better reactions out of him (and hence better key moments for the manga itself). Like, Akane is such an obvious target that, while possible, I just can’t quite believe Akasaka is going for this route. He is an author who really likes his twists and baits, after all. And that’s not even mentioning the fact that Akane straight up knows who the killer is. She’s a way harder target. Conclusion being, Mem-Cho is safe.

K now I don't think I'll be putting a spoiler warning bc this vid is abt the manga but I want to share my opinions on who's the target of the girls, First Kana she has a kind of medium low type of target for kamiki but mostly on the low side Kana usually doesn't have that much attention especially for Hikaru bc there is no mention in the manga (or so i thought maybe idk..) but definitely a low target to begin with then the next one. Two Akane now Akane is a pretty high target I mean Hikaru literally sends her a bouquet of white roses so that definitely gave her a big warning and she is also taking a dangerous approach bc she has been discovering more and more of hikaru so pretty reasonable. Honestly I'm pretty lazy to type all bc these are the two characters I know the most so here is the list of who is most likely to die List: 1.Akane 2.Kana 3.Ruby 4.Frill now i have mixed feelings about this bc i dont think akane is that high in the leaderboard nor is Kana or ruby.
i have a feeling that akane is at death's door, like idk why but i have a feeling shes probably going to die, maybe trying to save aqua? i don't really think that hikaru would kill frill because she works for him so it could bring attention to him (especially because of the play?) but who knows what would stop him? i think ruby is safe (for now) because i wouldn't say she is at the same level as akane or ai or even yura, like shes missing something. And hikaru did say before that she is his beautiful daughter so maybe that would act even somewhat as a deterrent? Hikaru is after girls with star eyes, so Akane has the heights chance of getting killed. However, to me Akane's star eyes are more of a fake star than a real star. She only gets the star eyes whenever she acts like Ai. Ruby is another great candidate but here star eyes are black, just like her father...

actually its not a fake, if you pay attention when akane deduce aqua and ruby is ai child, the star eyes apear briefly, also in ch 96 when she acting for drama and get an award the strar eyes apear, so the star eyes apear in akane when she acting(not only whe she imitated ai), if you are a manga reader i sugest you should read again ch 96

In (chapter 96 p16) is also similar with (chapter 51 p 13 and 14) it’s also had connection with Ai but this time after she see Kamiki acting videos and Akane even said in (chapter 96 p16) “the emotions of Ai that revived in me … are stirred up”. What if Akane somehow work as Ai emotion shell consider Akane style of acting is to immersed and become that character (method acting) but this time the emotions of character that she playing rigged her subconscious.One of the reason Ai emotions rigged her because she just imitates Ai because that’s was Aqua picture of ideal girl and she also assumed that Ai had a secret children but she ends up literally interacting with that secret child and his tragic past. We have so seen in manga that has encounter with hikaru kamiki first he shows on AI Hoshino grave where he bypass ruby and also he bypass es akane in awarding ceremony and I don't know what hikaru has planned for ruby it is complicated since ruby is his daughter but for akane as she is young actress maybe he wants to murder akane but i don't think aqua would let that happens now based on hikaru kamiki killing pattern most likely the next target is kurokawa akane . I don't want my best girl to die .
Akane really does seem like the perfect target. I think Aqua knows too which is why he wants to keep Akane away, but she wants to help him. It will be heart breaking if best girl Akane died trying to save Aqua 😭

I really hope they have more than just one line of dialogue that adresses what that disgusting woman did to him. All we got was Akane saying something along the lines of "So Hikaru fathered Taiki when he was 11... that's sick." And that's it. That's all we get. And Taiki still thinks his mother's a saint. I do like the dynamic Ai and Hikaru have though. Ai is the beautiful lie, and Hikaru is the ugly truth.
Akane is the worst way to hurt Aqua, he will make him feel again the same thing he felt for Ai maybe even worse. Kana will make just mad Aqua for loosing a precious friend, still now he is showing how selfish he is showing how she doesnt love her at all and doesnt care about her like he does for Ruby and Akane and thats very stupid

I'm expecting Ai bio pic to be a box office success enough to rise Ruby popularity to get Hikaru eyes rather than Akane (she might be preparing something) which will lead to the fateful encounter with the twin and their father. I also see Aqua (with everyone) making a epic play to make Hikaru spill the beans and record everything on camera to expose him.
i would actually like to see akane getting hurt in front of aquas eyes, by hikaru. Then they go to fight and stuff and both their staringans go full on dark. Hikaru pulls out a knife and threathens to kill aqua. At that point, its an either or situtation. Aqua doesnt care and let akane die, (possible) , or aqua does something insane and saves akane, then apologises for dragging her into this and the crossfire and they make up and become close friends or they repair their r/s as gf x bf
Honestly, Akane has a higher chance on dying. Something about the story is slowly telling that it will happen. But that doesn't mean Kana chance on dying is 0%

If look carefully, all the Hikarus victims had a star eyes (Ai, Akane (almost victim), Yuri) so I think the next is Ruby or Akane bc they have star eyes, Kana and Frill are in safe cuz : 1) they don’t have star eyes 2) Kana is just a story mover and she just adds a bit of rom-com in Oshi no ko 3) Frill just moves a Story further(it’s my opinion) but maybe we’ll know something about her sooner. Remember that director kindaichi said in chapter 96 that Kamiki often give the same flower to other graduate of Lala lie theatre that's why I'm sceptical she was one of his target. Plus even if the person actually managed to push her in that stairs she still survive because the stair is not that high to begin with imo.

I mean if you read back chapter 109 page 9 and 10, in page 9 there was a crescent moon in that scene when Yura declares her dream to Kamiki but in page 10 she had one star eyes when she ask Kamiki that if he think she can do it. Okay first we know Aka sensei always use symbolism in the story because majority of theme is lies so the symbolism of crescent moon in page 9 is based on spiritual is "your dreams can come true". But in page 10 it's show that Yura had half of the star eyes. As we know according to kindaichi in chapter 96 that star eyes are called Deceptive eye and had ability to turn lies into truth so that means Yura only believe half of what she said to Kamiki in page 9 because only her right eye that had doubt while the left eye that confidence. For me Kamiki kill Yura because she doesn't had full confidence in herself to make her dream in chapter 109 page 9 comes true so killing her in her peak career would be immortalised her.

I really appreciated how Hikaru was revealed in 109. In every panel that featured him (besides the final page) had his eyes closed, which made the reveal much more impactful once we get to the final page and see him with his eyes open revealing that he was in fact Hikaru.

it's not going to be Akane, because akane knows who "the starkiller" is. She knows him, and won't let him close to her. The natural conclusion to this story is for him to target Ruby. Ruby doesn't know exactly who her father is, she just knows he's responsible for Ai's death. Aqua's secrecy will put her in danger.

There is a good chance Aka migth pull the same move he did in the beginning and it would be very fitting, that is to either kill Akane or Ruby.
Since the plot revolves around revenge, the death of Akane or Ruby, would fuel Aqua's hate, and he would probably trace Kamiki easily because of vestiges left behind, after that, he kills Kamiki and it's done. Most fitting is Akane, because since the plot is almost forcing him to end up with Kana, killing Akane off leaves open room for Kana, and makes more sense than killing Ruby off.

I'm sceptical about Akane being one of Kamiki target, the reason is her star eyes is resulting of mimicking Ai character as the perfect idol. She basically just acting as Ai the perfect idol emotion shell. While the star eyes is basically to selling lies, white star lies to other while black star lying to yourself. But Akane only selling lies when acting or working and not in her daily life like Ai, Aqua or Ruby.
The scene with Yura having a star eyes and makes a declaration in chapter 109 page 9 and 10 is the thing that convince me that Kamiki only kill Yura because she having a self doubt that she would achieve all her dream like what she said to him consider deceptive eyes is eye of self doubt and normal eye is eye of self confidence. He killed her because he believe that Yura only believe in half of what she said so killing her in her peak would sort of immortalize her like Ai.
Also I believe Kana also would had this deceptive eyes consider her role in Ai biography movie is the B Komachi member who hate Ai. So one way or another she need to selling lies that she hate Ai when portraying that role consider Aqua and Ruby is Ai children and her close friends. One of the very few places where we can let loose and not hold back when it comes to this series especially the manga. Man Wednesday is going to be f ing awesome. The season one finale with it ending at chapter 40, the most likely season 2 announcement. The manga chapter and it's "big reveal". Aka stated in a recent interview is that he already has the ending planned out. Still it took a reliable leaker to tell us when Kaguya-sama Love is War was ending, it probably will be the same when it comes to this series. Either way all we have to do is sit back and watch as the good stuff starts to happen in the series.
Wednesday gonna be one of the greatest days for OnK! S1 finale, S2 announcement, and probably the biggest chapter for the series all coming out on the same day! 🔥
That's redundant, he tried to kill akane before on the staircase. And from a writing perspective that's the obvious bait.
Kana is written in a way, since the beginning of the story, to be this brilliant actress but she hasn't gotten the opportunity to shine on a grand stage, keeping her away from hikaru's sight and seemingly preference. She's basically been coasting under the radar for the entire series in the entertainment industry. Sure the idol stuff has been successful but it isn't on the level as when Ai was the lead. You factor in that kana is personally connected to both aqua and ruby on a deep personally level. If their dad wants to personally get back at them, because of the movie, that's an added bonus to make them suffer. Plus aqua has, clumsy, tried to protect kana for about half the series, if you take his past trauma of him not protecting/saving Ai and something happens to kana, it's going to get ugly.
And finally the color white symbolism. Kana's glow stick is white and it's considered "special" in idol culture. I believe on two occasions we seen white roses in the series. The first is with Ai's death scene and the second was at akane's event, clearly these white roses are his calling card for his next victim. The color white and white roses are symbolic of purity (among other things), in my opinion I believe the white glow stick and white roses are narratively connected. And if you look at the latest volume cover ( vol 11) it's Kana with a rose like dress with white gloves and there's a promotional art (official art) with kana holding a flower to her face, I'm not saying that means anything but man.
There's something that draws their father to highly popular (with star eyes) female actress in the industry, if he sees this movie and he sees kana's multi-star eyes, which also extends out from her body, that makes her radiates like the sun, which akane has directly stated, and she finally starts to garner more success and attention I believe Kana might be his next victim.
Personally for me there's too much subtext and stuff shown in our face over the course of the series that I can't think of anyone other her.
This is exactly my theory....kana has too many parallels and similiarities with ai and yura, her official color is white, she still isn't famous and kamiki took interest in ai and yura before they became big name, she shines like the sun, she still doesn't know about the revenge,she is easily manipulated, she has a connection with almost every kamiki children(aqua,ruby and taiki)....my theory is that she will be the first one to meet daddy
Reasons why Akane would die:
1) She has the staringan which Aqua's father is targeting.
2) She knows who Aqua's father is.
3) She said she is willing to walk the same path as Aqua.
4) Currently trying to stop Aqua's plan, which likely won't end well.
5) She already planned suicide before. So she ended up dead anyway won't be a surprise.

Honestly I don't Akane will be much of a target, don't get me wrong she's talented and a very famous actress but personally i think Hikaru will most likely go for Kana or Frill. Kana because not only is she extremely close to both Ruby and Aqua, but also because she's extremely talented in many different fields besides acting, and Frill because she is also extremely talented in many different fields. I would say that Ruby and Frill are friends but after Ruby found out about Gorous death she basically ghosted everone and only recently she is working with Kana as she is teaching her acting for the movie. The biggest target can be Kana as, not only is she a star who has similar energy as Ai (how they can both draw anyone in when they perform) but also because she has a very close relationship with the twins, and where Hikaru killed their mother, I don't think that killing their best friend will be hard for him. This is only my opinion tho-
If Kana achieved more notoriety soon, then I think she could definitely be more of a target due to everything else you mentioned. Her death would probably hurt both Ruby and Aqua together the most too.

Another thing is, appearance wise, they both are extremely similar. Let me explain; they both of highlights of a lighter colour in their hair, they both have big eyes and both have the same skin colour as well. Now for personality, if you take Kana's sharp tongue away they are basically the same person. How they both do similar moves, how much they care for both the twins, how both of them showed reluctance to join an idol group when scouted, heck even their skill sets are the same, even though Kana has better acting skills. Another thing I'm surprised people haven't pointed out is how easily Kana saw that Ruby was a carbon copy of Ai. When Akane met her, she couldn't tell and she's the same person who researched every single thing about this woman. I feel like Hikaru may kill her even before she rises to stardom because she is too similar to Ai, and being that means that the person is going to be hella famous. Again, just a theory

I very much believe Kana is the one he is going after.
Kana, the only one amongst the main cast who has never been shown with a starry eye, is the one with the biggest *POTENTIAL* to achieve that.
She already shines brightly. She’s one of the few people who was actually able to make Aqua look her way without explicitly mentioning Ai or being similar to her.
Plus, Aqua is very clearly trying to convince himself that he only sees Kana as a tool, even when he quite obviously doesn’t.
So my guess is that Hikaru will attack Kana, not only forcing Aqua to recognise his love, but also pretty much making him loose his cool once and for all. Dude might actually give up on his revenge because of it.
The outcome would be similar if Hikaru went after Ruby, but at this point, I think Aqua’s reaction would be a little different if Ruby were the target.
With Kana, he would get desperate. He would loose his cool. He would break once and for all.
With Ruby, having lost once more the person who represents the continuation of the two people he so desperately tried to save, Aqua would pretty much just spiral even further into his revenge and actually want to kill Hikaru even more. He would have nothing more to lose and his ideology would be entirely validated.
Plus, considering the events of 123, with Ruby back with her starry eyes and the crown-loli warning Aqua that this was a bad move, it’s also possible Hikaru will target her and Aqua will blame himself for making Ruby a star once again.
So yeah, anyways, from a story telling perspective, I doubt Akane will be the target. The flowers are just bait. For the better or for the worse, Aqua simply cares more about Kana and Ruby, so these two would get better reactions out of him (and hence better key moments for the manga itself).
Like, Akane is such an obvious target that, while possible, I just can’t quite believe Akasaka is going for this route. He is an author who really likes his twists and baits, after all.
And that’s not even mentioning the fact that Akane straight up knows who the killer is. She’s a way harder target.

First Kana she has a kind of medium low type of target for kamiki but mostly on the low side Kana usually doesn't have that much attention especially for Hikaru bc there is no mention in the manga (or so i thought maybe idk..) but definitely a low target to begin with then the next one. Two Akane now Akane is a pretty high target I mean Hikaru literally sends her a bouquet of white roses so that definitely gave her a big warning and she is also taking a dangerous approach bc she has been discovering more and more of hikaru so pretty reasonable. Hikaru is after girls with star eyes, so Akane has the heights chance of getting killed. However, to me Akane's star eyes are more of a fake star than a real star. She only gets the star eyes whenever she acts like Ai.
Ruby is another great candidate but here star eyes are black, just like her father...

actually its not a fake, if you pay attention when akane deduce aqua and ruby is ai child, the star eyes apear briefly, also in ch 96 when she acting for drama and get an award the strar eyes apear, so the star eyes apear in akane when she acting(not only whe she imitated ai), if you are a manga reader i sugest you should read again ch 96

In (chapter 96 p16) is also similar with (chapter 51 p 13 and 14) it’s also had connection with Ai but this time after she see Kamiki acting videos and Akane even said in (chapter 96 p16) “the emotions of Ai that revived in me … are stirred up”. What if Akane somehow work as Ai emotion shell consider Akane style of acting is to immersed and become that character (method acting) but this time the emotions of character that she playing rigged her subconscious.One of the reason Ai emotions rigged her because she just imitates Ai because that’s was Aqua picture of ideal girl and she also assumed that Ai had a secret children but she ends up literally interacting with that secret child and his tragic past. Also in (chapter 87 p10) “slowly but surely the lies turn into truth” isn’t this also the way Ai thinking during her time as an idol. That’s why I think Akane stars eyes is pseudo star eyes because in order to actually activate it she need to have link with Ai character inside her.
In chapter 96 when she receives award her star eyes also appear because she acting like Ai after she take Aqua advice in (chapter 28 p5)when he said “as soon as you start playing a role, it becomes your armor.If you show your real self, you’ll only get hurt”. Also she imitates Ai because MEMcho guess that was Aqua pictures of ideal girl and try imitating Ai as form of gratitude for Aqua.

We have so seen in manga that has encounter with hikaru kamiki first he shows on AI Hoshino grave where he bypass ruby and also he bypass es akane in awarding ceremony and I don't know what hikaru has planned for ruby it is complicated since ruby is his daughter but for akane as she is young actress maybe he wants to murder akane but i don't think aqua would let that happens now based on hikaru kamiki killing pattern most likely the next target is kurokawa akane . I really hope they have more than just one line of dialogue that adresses what that disgusting woman did to him. If look carefully, all the Hikarus victims had a star eyes (Ai, Akane (almost victim), Yuri) so I think the next is Ruby or Akane bc they have star eyes, Kana and Frill are in safe cuz :
1) they don’t have star eyes
2) Kana is just a story mover and she just adds a bit of rom-com in Oshi no ko
3) Frill just moves a Story further(it’s my opinion) but maybe we’ll know something about her sooner.

Remember that director kindaichi said in chapter 96 that Kamiki often give the same flower to other graduate of Lala lie theatre that's why I'm sceptical she was one of his target. Plus even if the person actually managed to push her in that stairs she still survive because the stair is not that high to begin with imo.

I mean if you read back chapter 109 page 9 and 10, in page 9 there was a crescent moon in that scene when Yura declares her dream to Kamiki but in page 10 she had one star eyes when she ask Kamiki that if he think she can do it.
Okay first we know Aka sensei always use symbolism in the story because majority of theme is lies so the symbolism of crescent moon in page 9 is based on spiritual is "your dreams can come true". But in page 10 it's show that Yura had half of the star eyes. As we know according to kindaichi in chapter 96 that star eyes are called Deceptive eye and had ability to turn lies into truth so that means Yura only believe half of what she said to Kamiki in page 9 because only her right eye that had doubt while the left eye that confidence.
For me Kamiki kill Yura because she doesn't had full confidence in herself to make her dream in chapter 109 page 9 comes true so killing her in her peak career would be immortalised her.
As much as I hate to say it. Akane. I love akane through and through, but one does not simply rack up so many death flags and bait us twice into near death
