The title of this video is a bit misleading, especially for people who don't live here. I do understand what you are going for, but its not quite reality yet for Greensboro. I know that in most large US cities, there is a very dense/robust urban city limit with towns outside of it which are suburban. The difference with Greensboro (and many southern cities) is that all of the "suburbs" you noted in this video are not neighborhoods of Greensboro and aren't really considered part of Greensboro's Suburbs "yet" -- those small towns ie. Summerfield, Oak Ridge, etc. those are considered Rural. Suburban neighborhoods in Greensboro would be places like the Lake Jeanette area. In terms of actual suburban towns, Greensboro and W-S aren't quite there yet. I'd say give it another 10-20 years at the minimum. The only reason I bring this up is because, someone from out of town who is looking to move here, who is possibly looking for an actual suburban feel, probably isn't going to look at a place like Summerfield which is very rural and farmy. I live in a development near Northern Guilford High, and while its still very rural out here, you can tell that masses of people are starting to move into these areas, and in 10-15 years will be more like the actual Greensboro suburbs (that are in Greensboro city limits).
This is a very valid point. Oak Ridge and Summerfield are very rural and "farmy". Greensboro just keeps growing and growing. I think back when I moved here 23 years ago, there was nothing to downtown. I like the size just fine the way it is - I don't like traffic :-)
Hello . I just subscribed to your channel, but I was unable to ring the bell. :( I tried it on a different video and it did the same thing. I wonder what the problem is. I will be sending you an email. I sincerely enjoy your channel. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I hope you and yours have a pleasant evening. Take good care.
