I grew up in Raleigh and lived for several years in Greensboro. Two things come to mind. Traffic, the Triangle sucks for traffic. The big thing I noticed was the people. Greensboro is a much more friendly. Raleigh folks have always had a "Holier than thou" thing going. It really gets old after a while. I've also lived in 7 other states in my life. Raleigh still holds the title as most "Stuck up". I have no desire to ever move back there.
@@JeffValentino Im from Cali but love NC yet find myself terrified to move across country at the same time. Currently have an offer but am on the fence. Are there areas around Greensboro you recommend at the moment?
@@Dubi00 I hear you, and I and most others I've helped move felt the same way. It's a big step. Summerfield, Oak Ridge, and Jamestown are all nice towns outside of Greensboro. Did you see the video I made about moving to NC? th-cam.com/video/vUT5ElGr2Ro/w-d-xo.html
@Jeff Valentino - Realtor greensboro is the least expensive city aside from places like orlando, tampa, miami. that's also why more residential homes are being built
Greensboro is full 😁 born and raised in the Boro when I was younger I always was like Greensboro needs to be like Charlotte and like that one now I'm older I like the medium sized city we have most of the stuff the bigger cities have on a smaller scale minus the professional sports and you can ride to the other cities in the Triad and a different vibe Winston, High Point, Burlington everything in between
Kiss the meduim size city butt goodbye. With Toyota Battery Facility, SuperSonic Boom, and Amazon. Its over Greensboro will be similar to Raleigh in 10 yrs. Plus Greensboro region is just more overall attractive. Dont make the same mistakes of Raleigh and let the NIMBYs control possible mass transit plans.
Thanks for the good information
Thanks for watching!

Man the traffic is real. Our main office is there and it reminds me of being back in Chicago.
@@JeffValentino Sounds better than LA though lol

@@JeffValentino Reminds me of the charm and size of Nashville TN when I first moved here 15 years ago, now it’s like Atlanta
@@stony2494 I like Nashville, but yes it sure has grown quite a bit. We considered it before here.

Thanks for watching Tellie! I like those same things about Greensboro. I go to Charlotte or Raleigh sometimes, but not as much as I thought I would.

I'm moving there soon
It's still affordable here especially if you don't mind an older house
Really affordable compared to most of the Triangle, Thanks for watching!
So how does Greensboro compare to Winton Salem?
Hey dawson! I made a video comparing the two...you can watch it here th-cam.com/video/g5nvN-50s8I/w-d-xo.html
