Why is LFC showing "exploratory interest" in signing Chiesa? Well, since these so-called pundits can't fathom why, I'll drop this here: #1. Signing a quality player for under £20m is a no-brainer #2. Signing another attacking option that can play across the front-line is a great one to have #3. LFC playing a lot of games this season means that Salah at 32 years needs to be managed better which means having fresh legs to replace him in some games and Chiesa fits the bill #4. With Salah aging and knowing that getting a ready replacement for him is probably near impossible, having a 'stop-gap' in Chiesa makes logical sense #5. Having a new quality signing through the door should also help the dressing room

Why is LFC showing "exploratory interest" in signing Chiesa? Well, since these so-called pundits can't fathom why, I'll drop this here:
#1. Signing a quality player for under £20m is a no-brainer
#2. Signing another attacking option that can play across the front-line is a great one to have
#3. LFC playing a lot of games this season means that Salah at 32 years needs to be managed better which means having fresh legs to replace him in some games and Chiesa fits the bill
#4. With Salah aging and knowing that getting a ready replacement for him is probably near impossible, having a 'stop-gap' in Chiesa makes logical sense
#5. Having a new quality signing through the door should also help the dressing room

He's been rubbish for the last 3 years. Liverpool were interested in him back when he was good. This always happens during transfer windows. Any player your club was ever linked with gets brought up again when the club the player is at are looking to move him on. They put out fake rumours to try to generate interest in the player, happens all the time. You seem to be completely unaware of how useless Chiesa has become on a football pitch. He'd be an awful signing for any money. It's not about the cost, you don;t want to be signing bad players. I wouldn't want him even if he only cost 1 million.
@LordHighness He made his return in 2022 after being out for 10 months due to injury and made 33 appearances with 9 goals last season. The fact he could play 33 games after a horrific injury means he's well and truly on his way up. So for less than £20m, he'd absolutely be a risk worth taking.
Why we don't need him..... We only have 2 natural left winger Neto and Murdryk, if Neto gets injured we are prepared to play Murdryk all day long. I don't want to see Felix, Nkunku, KDH playing out of position on the wing I need Jadon to prove to us that he is better than Murdryk.
