Next time it will happen will be in

2023 = Houston - Texas
Five of those ten division rivals LCS, it has been by AL East division rivals

I liked it better when teams from the same division weren't allowed to meet in the LDS. Could you imagine what it would have been like if all those Yankees/Red Sox series were in the ALDS and not the ALCS?

Yankees-RSOX might be the “rivalry”, but RSOX-Rays have had a lot of drama encounters with each other since the Rays arrived in 1998
