Oh yeah, in the New Orleans Bowl. Arkansas State went to a bowl for the 1st time since the 1970 Pecan Bowl. Game played at Cajun Field ASU won the Sun Belt conference with a 6-6 record (5-2). Lost to Southern Miss 19-31. So Rutgers and Arkansas State end their long suffering bowl droughts, especially Rutgers 😊. In Tony Soprano words " Do you think I'm still the same kid on the school bus" , the late James Gandofini alta mater the Scarlet Knights are no longer in the back of the bus, their in front of the bus when it comes to 2006 Rutgers magical season.
