This game looks amazing. Looking at the comments on Gamefound, it seems there are at least a few complaints about broken minis unfortunately. Some of those minis are so cool. Bet they would look amazing painted. The spread at the end is nuts. I am sure it is a lot of work, but for the video it is well worth it. Such an amazing shot. Great video! Can't wait for the gameplay and review👍
Thanks man, and I didn't even see those comments. Interesting though, crazy an entire arm was missing from one of them, and a big one at that, you would think that would be noticeable when putting it into the box. but oh well. I have it all out and ready to go and I've been going over the rules, it looks fun so far. And yea laying out everything in the frame can be a lot for some of these games haha, this is one of those. It definitely looks cool when it's all laid out like that.
This was sweet. The miniatures look interesting and the faction design seems cool. There’s definitely some appeal for a contained 30-60 minute skirmish game that doesn’t keep changing with new content. I hope you dig the solo stuff and get a chance to play some 1v1 games as well. And the spread is amazing! I don’t envy you having to clean up and figure out where everything goes! Ha
Exactly! The 30-60min playtime, if true, has me really interested. I don't always want to be playing a 2 hour game, give me something with an epic feel, in a smaller timeframe. I'm going to try and get some solo plays recorded next week at some point, so they'll possibly be out next week or the following. Haha yea dude some of these games I'm unboxing and I'm like oh shit this is going to take a while to setup and tear down. But it does look cool all spread out like that. you can really see just how much is in the boxes. Thanks brother!

Haha I feel your wallets pain man. I'm going to try to get some solo playthroughs up on the channel at some point. Problem is I'm running into all kinds of videos and different games I want to cover, and not enough time for all of them, so stuff feels like it's getting pushed back for a while. but it'll get out at some point.
Thanks for the video! One of the best games I've played and own. I like the "setup" being a part of the game strategy with crystal and shrine placement, along with selecting your best deck and squads. I seem to usually win with Rha-zack, because of their attack, initiative and movement abilities along with some cards like Time Jump, that allow wiping out the other opponent fairly quick. I find Faceless, Reborn and Dvergar pretty powerful, but more difficult to build up and fight, and they are built to be more defensive and survive till they get their late game stats. Faceless gets really overpowering if they get going.
Hey Jarrod awesome comment and information dude! Interesting bit about the Rha-Zack you were mentioning, I'm curious to jump into each of the factions to try them out. I'm happy you said that about the Dvergar haha they look so freaking cool, I mean they all do, but something about the Dvergar are calling me so I think I'm going to try them for my first game. I'm going to keep in mind your thoughts about them being more defensive and surviving until they can power up more. All the factions look so cool dude, I'm excited. Have you tried any solo games yet? @@BrewsandBoardgames The solo is pretty sweet against the darkness, kinda tough depending on which faction you take them on with. Dvergar is great with solo. You basically need factions with low imitative. against darkness. The faction vs faction stories are pretty cool too. Anyway, lots of content and really fun to delve into the whole thing. @@BrewsandBoardgames faction vs faction is two player, wish they would have had AI for those story modes, but I've played them solo. It works if you play both sides to the best of the faction abilities.
@@jarrod6670 Gotcha, and yea that's how I'm learning the game now, playing 2 handed. Started with Rha-Zack vs Dvergar and Rha-Zack seemed to have an early lead. Their initiative was generally higher so they could attack first which helped, I was getting some better rolls with them. But I also like the cards so far, like the Dvergars enchantment that allows them to collect the endurance tokens for that squad onto their shrine when they lose it. So you could get some back during the battle. Little things like that. Side note, just based on my first play it seemed like I got crystals back pretty easily by rolling the cog wheels, just based on the sheer amount of times you roll dice. Do you generally find that's the case?
I've been trying to track this down, found the stretch goals cheap. Just waiting to find the war chest for a good price. 👍appreciate another great unboxing 👌
Yea the gamefound prices are expensive, for something like this it might be best to find it used, so that you can get it slightly cheaper. It looks really fun, and it seems to have a simple design which is nice sometimes. Thanks dude, I appreciate that!
