@@jmhellison Yeah he's in SE Michigan in the Detroit area. Traffic laws are way more strict and more strictly enforced in that are than most of the country. Most intersections like that in that area have a "NO TURN ON RED" sign. I didn't see if there was one. However if he keeps that shit up in that area he is going to get shot or run off the road.

AND while I can't exactly agree that was a good place for a bus to stop, it's also not like the bus stop hasn't been there a while. They don't tend to just "pop up out of nowhere"... I'm gonna say that the driver was putting the bikers in harm's way as he was over the center line. Dumb move on the part of the biker though, as optimum maneuverability, in order to avoid the car, was to have both hands on the bars. Also, good way to break a hand/arm. At the very least, I bet it hurt.
"put you in harm" is too subjective. Nothing gives you the right to damage someone else's property as 'payback' or 'revenge'.

I wonder what happened to the guy that pulled his knife. That's a no-no. He was not in imminent fear of serious bodily harm or death. And he insinuated he would have pulled his gun if he had it on him. He needs to learn the law. Pepper spray might have been the only appropriate thing he might have used.
Exactly. He'd have to prove in court that any "reasonable" person would believe he was in immediate danger of harm. Knife or gun, it's still aggravated assault, agg battery, ADW, whatever the state they're in calls it. I believe peppery spray would still (in that circumstance) be a battery.
If the video goes or went to court, him saying "just give me an excuse" to cut him certainly won't be in his favor either.

If I'm the only bike in the outside lane I move up and over to let cars turn if they can, not had anything happen yet except the thanks wave.

Fr. He had Zero counter steering, just went straight for the wall. Probably grabbed all rear brake straightening it out preventing him from turning😂
Yeah, dude DEFINITELY needs more time in the parking lot...
Um... It sounds counter intuitive, but you KICK the rear brake (not grab) and it will slide out and cause you to go sideways, not straighten you... If you GRAB the brake, it's the front brake, and that will destroy any chance at steering, because the front wheel loses all traction unless you're gentle and smooth on that hand brake... allowing the forks to "drop" under load (weight shifts forward in braking).
It's called "loading the tire before you use the tire".
