I am pretty sure that is not allpwed in any US state. Class 1 and 2 bicycles are limites to 20 MPH.
@@davepalmer7987 certain Ebikes have a 'racing use only' switch or wire that can be disables so yes it is possible. Just because they are limited does not mean that is the limit of the motor, larger motor at less than maxed out throttle will drain the battery less.

0:13 So I'm just going to say, the first clip both were doing all KINDS of stupid things. Riding on the shoulder is illegal, if you want to lane split then be BETWEEN the lanes. Cars driving on the shoulder are bad enough. I don't care if you don't like the traffic, it's Cali or maybe Texas, there's always traffic in big cities, so both you and the other driver were in the wrong but you more so because you were the one riding on the shoulder.

I slightly disagree with you. Sometimes a driver mistake can kill a biker so it's understandable for bikers to get frustrated. However, getting mad over small things is what makes bikers look bad. especially when they're partly/are at fault.

@@OfficialDiffy yes that is true, sometimes when a driver's mistake almost kills a biker, they have the right to be angry, but a driver cutting a biker off does not give the biker the right to smash the car's mirror and take off, that is Criminal destruction of property, and doesn't matter if the driver is at fault or not, pretty good chances, the biker would be the one going to jail since he committed a hit-and-run by taking off after he smashed the mirror. If a driver Cuts you off and you are on a bike, just have a talk with the driver, no need for mirror smashing and all that bull. Bikers who do that are drama queens of the road. If you are going to ride a motorcycle, then follow all the traffic laws.

Mr T's Misadventure - In countries where they drive on the left, don't overtake cars that are indicating to turn right. Drive safely, dude!
His indicator timing was very late, and he didn’t start pulling into the middle of the road like you’d expect, not sure there was much mr t could’ve done other than have slightly quicker reflexes

@@lewiscutler489 It's hard to see how soon the blue car started indicating because of glare but if you freeze the video at 1:55 you can see the indicator light for the first time. Mr T. is driving at a sensible speed of 34 kph, so at that point he's got ample time and and space to keep safe. I don't know exactly what those road markings mean (would the cops really expect a biker to wait in the queue of stationary vehicles?) but I guess _technically,_ he shouldn't have been riding in the area between the unbroken lines, so he should have factored in the possibility of someone intending to turn right not expecting any overtaking traffic. You've got to ride as though you're invisible.

Surrons are some nice pieces of equipment. Keep in mind the one you see in the video is heavily modified and upgraded, so you won't get that performance out of the box. Stock they pull a maxmum of 45mph and 9hp, however the setup this guy has pulls probably 65-70mph max and around 20hp due to an aftermarket controller and battery.
Whenever someone says "Watch out for cyclists!" I direct them to this channel. The majority refuse to watch out for themselves.
