Honestly Chimney is probably one of my favorite side kid characters in this show out of all the children introduced in this anime. I love how random and just going with flow she is
I like that she's not dumb. Yeah she's outgoing and spontaneous but leaving a trail for the pirates to follow, finding out and coordinating with Granny Kokoro on some "f*ck it" type.
It is clever isn't it? When we first meet Dragon, we're too focused on thinking 'Who is that' or 'what's going on' or just on 'what did he mean?' when he said "What reason would there be to interfere with another man's departure" or "The world is waiting for our answer" to focus on two of the other things Dragon said - meaning "A pirate huh? Well that's fine by me" and "If that's your decision then go." Saying things like that - it doesn't occur to us then that he's talking like he's giving Luffy his permission or his blessing to go out and be a pirate, and it doesn't occur to us to wonder 'why would he be doing that for Luffy' (not that Luffy would need or ask him for his permission if he knew who Dragon was). They told us just enough for it to make sense when we found to and then went back to think about it.
Fun fact: this old crazy underranked marine who's main preocupation is how many cookies can he eat without sleeping could solo both the straw hats and CP9 together, and it wouldn't even be close. There's LEVELS to this game

He's 72, he's starting to loose some hearing, starting to loose some sight, starting to get arthritis, and he has some sort of an illness that requires him to have tubes in his nose and an IV attached to him as well (fan theory is that it's One Piece world's equivalent to our worlds cancer). However......he still holds the title for strongest man in the world.....and could easily kick us from here to the next continent with his IV still attached (that's not a spoiler, we all saw enough of what he was capable of in this episode). FUN FACT the reason Garp wears that silly dog hat is cuz before the manga came out, Oda made a One shot that was sort of a "rough draft" of One Piece. In THAT version, Garp is still his grandpa, but hes a pirate! In fact, HE was actually the one with the Strawhat who saves Luffy. So luffy wants to be just like him... So when Garp shows up in the Real Manga...he looks the same, so Oda gave him the hat to hide his identity from readers who mightve seen him in the one shot😅
Kiwi and Mozu in the background of every shot react posing 😂😂😂. I don't even think they were with Franky when he was talking to Iceberg, meaning Franky had to call them to go deliver the news with him, and all they did was stand around reacting 😂😂😂😂. Love them so much.
I've gotta say, in all the years that I have been watching this show I've been trying to find anyone reacting to it as good as you guys. Hard to answer your question without spoilers but -Marvin's- Mav's right, Shanks saw something in Luffy, something we cannot define right now. Do you remember Loguetown? The scene in the bar that Gol D Roger used to go to? That bartender knew Roger, knew him well. Luffy reminded him of Roger. Remember Crocus? The doctor who's taking care of Laboon on the other side of Reverse Mountain? His comment when they left made it sound like he knew Roger too, and he also saw something in Luffy. Whatever it is, Shanks isn't the only one who sees it.

Btw you 2 can watch the Live Action now if you want. It's relatively safe. Also, latest Live Action news is that season 2 will cover Logue Town, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak and Drum Island. I personally highly doubt season 2 won't include Alabasta. It's a horrible stopping point and Wapol is a horrible villain to stop at.
lowkey feel like the ace/smoker match and then them running away would be a good stopping point but at the same time, s3 being a juicy deluxe alabasta full focus then intro to jaya/skypeia as its ending would be super peak
