They would need another 2 years for that to have been possible. Retro isn't a massive team. The numbers aren't there. Retro put's their all into a SINGLE FOCUS. They don't divide themselves up into two directions.
Hearing 4K and "better polygons" pains me...I don't want that. That's anti progress, that's anti fun, that's just chasing tech and all games blend together. I genuinely would be happy to go back to N64 polygon looks running at 60fps. I'd rather pay $60 per game for N64 style games then $90 for "realistic" games.
Neither of those are bad per se, the problem is that other companies tunnel vision on it, leading to blander games and longer development cycles.
@@Crafty_boy70 As usual, the problem is always from the human element lol.
Why would it pain you!? This is literally progress. I swear some Nintendo fans want Nintendo to become irrelevant.
Do you want Switch 2 to fastly become outdated against the PS5 and XBOX SERIES X let alone when PS6 and the next XBOX come out??? 4K and better polygons is what all modern consoles have so why look at that as a negative!?
It's not like it means Nintendo is now gonna try and make all their games realistic. It just means it's better to have your system support those features to attract more 3rd parties to port games to it and not have to sacrifice a huge graphical downgrade like big 3rd party games do on the regular Switch.
@@XenoMassxx Not physical pain. Just a mental pain, like when your favorite show that went on for years comes to an end.
Outdated? Power doesn't matter. Nintendo's games keep them going, Nintendo does NOT compete with the other companies, they have said many times over, they don't care about the other two. Xbox has made itself utterly useless. Sony has fallen off a cliff with the PS5. Nintendo with it's "weaker" system once more thrive. It's about the GAMES not the specs under the hood. Why look at that as a negative? Why look at setting yourself on fire as a negative? CAUSE IT IS A NEGATIVE. If you don't want to accept reality that's a YOU problem.
Nobody buys a Nintendo system for 3rd party games, you buy an Xbox/PS or PC for them. 3rd party games are almost all hollow trash. They are the cherry on top of the cake, not the cake itself.
Bro your an idiot. More power is alway better as long as the games are still as amazing as ever. No downside what so ever
