Hit up a motorcycle swap meet and buy a pair of used Harley sideview mirrors. The mirror stems drop into the hinge and you could tighten them down. I'm not debating anyone's local laws, Sideview mirrors just make things safer.

Always remove door pin bolts and do all other steps first and remove door retention hinge bolt LAST. It’s very easy to get gouges inside the jam with it removed first.

I wish there was a close up of the tricky part when you pop the cover on the front doors and go for the RED piece ?
Oh and am I OCD when I think the plugs should be tucked into the door side pockets before taking them of n walking around with them ? 🤦🏼♀️

So on a 2021 wrangler jl do you need to pull a fuse? I am reading I need to pull fuse 4 to stop interior lights.. help..
Where are you reading this?
You just need to pull the fuse connected to the door
On my 23 Mojave the dash dimmer roller switch turns off the interior lights when I roll it all the way down.

Where do the doors go if you are traveling
On the vehicle. You can take the bolts and everything out but leave the doors on so when you get to where you want you can pop them off and set them down real quick.
How safe is it driving without the side mirrors
Depends if you normally use them or not
It all depends on your state laws. I'm on the east coast and so far the only state I've found to require it is VA. Side mirrors are not always required as long as you have a rear view mirror.

They sell mirrors that are designed to go on Jeep when doors are off

No. It’s illegal to ride without the rear view mirror though but not side mirrors.

To be honest I’m a Jeep guy .. new design on new Jeeps .. fucking one of the worse . Bought a 2023 jeep .. Obliviously who ever thought about things …. To redesign … wasn’t Jeep guys or Jeep women …… the worse .. heading back to buying old Jeeps
