Country relaxed on testing are generally coutry where lifter train 12/16 time a week in modest facility. Check the recent klokov video. The dianabol is the same in new york, paris and moscou.
Same. I'd love to learn some of this stuff but these seem like extremely technical lifts that you absolutely need a coach to teach you otherwise you could really fuck yourself up.
Not in competitive weight-classed lifting, he was probably lifting around a 225lb weight class here. They bulk a lot to gain muscle then cut fat the week before.
Here is the thing it takes 1 month to get any drug completely out of your system to the point where professional tests dont work and i knew an olympic runner up for the us until he tweaked his knee he was completely natural and set at least 5 lifting records that i know of at my highschool
You realise that Klokov didn't compete in the 2012 olympics because he failed his PEDs test right? (not taking anything away from him, the man is a beast!)
Also, why do you think Klokov and Akkaev withdrew from the olympics? There's a new GH test that detects the use within weeks instead of hours. Coincidence?
it was later released on a web site (the name evades me) the klockov didnt compete because he failed the russian teams independent testing to avoid the embarrassment. misha was also not allowed to compete because of this.
Just an interesting point, surprised he didn't get red lighted for dropping that 3rd snatch, pretty sure you have to keep hands on the bar until it passes the shoulders
it has nothing to do with roids, theyre available to everyone.Weightlifting has a huge tradition and financial support in Russia, bulgaria ,iran and turkey. There is massive participation and motivation compared to Britain.
There are roids in every gym in Britain but not taken by the serious athletes who want to compete in international events. The domestic testing by the UK is far more stringent and more difficult to outfox than the official testing of the events.
most people here, including me, couldn't even budge 500lbs off the ground, much less lift it above head. so if he's on something, i'd like to know what.
Lets face it a lack of roids is not the problem in the UK...a lack of interest or rather a lack of anything in the school system that promotes any sport other than football, rugby, cricket and oddly badminton is the problem! Bring some form of strength and conditioning into high schools and in 10-15 years who knows?
hehe :) but then you just served my point again, but i'm rather surprised really, you are the first american ive met that thinks the metric system is better for sports and training.
Whatever, it's true but if it helps you sleep at night to imagine it's fake, then go ahead and believe that. Wouldn't want to affect your beauty sleep.
Skentuey is right. Sadly, most olympic lifters are on steroids. It is easy enough for them to cycle off for the olympics. Just speak to any of the american oly lifters on this topic or listen to Jon North's and Donny Shankle's weightlifting talk. I wish it weren't true...
Hate to burst the bubble but they're ALL juicing, not just the Russians. If they've placed in the Olympics in recent years, they've 100% been juicing at some point or another.
Give me all the roids in the world and im still not lifting that much lol. Not saying he is juicing...just saying that IF he is, don't act like his numbers still aren't CRAZYYYY!!!
Yup agree, like saying Ben Johnson wouldn't have been the athlete he was without the pharma (Ben again wasn't the onlyone!) There's some very naive folk around!
There is no doubt that the countries which win regularly have masses of support / tradition and motivation PLUS roids and that makes a winning combination. But some countries like Britain just don't have roids available as you said - the testing is way more stringent as I already said. And that missing means you just can't compete.
Lol I couldn't care less if the UK never win a weightlifting medal. It's common knowledge amongst any people with even a modicum of familiarity with the sport that the Russians are juicing to the max. I know a guy who was a coach in the 2012 olympics who overheard the Russian coach just openly telling everyone about how annoyed they were that they all fucked up Klokov's cycle timing.
No, you probably don't know such a guy. This is youtube; it would be safest to assume you know nothing, and are talking out of your ass. To think that they would openly discuss such things amongst foreign lifters and coaches, who may use this against them, seems to me quite dumb. Have anyone considered the possibility that yes, they use PEDs, and yes, they were properly injured?
Su jerk es impresionante!!! Outstanding jerk!!!
Gold in london - i really hope he will make it! He DESERVES it. What a beast!
Very amazing. Awesome form every time :D
if he can edge out the best akkayev we've seen it will be something to remember for many years
i cant wait to see this guy compete in london
Country relaxed on testing are generally coutry where lifter train 12/16 time a week in modest facility. Check the recent klokov video. The dianabol is the same in new york, paris and moscou.
the beast from he east >>> i love him and his style. he always fights till the end
Вот она настоящая сила, не та которую наедают.
Amazing!

he got the power of wolverine, he looks like wolverine, so he is wolverine.. people love him because he shows emotion
nutjoooob

Absolutely 1000% correct !!!!!!!!!
Красота
the best!!!!
BEAST
2:09 Shhhh. Priceless.
Also, why do you think Klokov and Akkaev withdrew from the olympics? There's a new GH test that detects the use within weeks instead of hours. Coincidence?

such a boss
Just an interesting point, surprised he didn't get red lighted for dropping that 3rd snatch, pretty sure you have to keep hands on the bar until it passes the shoulders
FOR YOU
بطل قوي وله مستقبل
beast
Клоков классный штангист, мотивирует.
If you disagree you can refute what I said if you like.
Can someone explain to me why both Klokov and Akkaev pulled out of the olympics?
i really hope he wins gold in london..
it has nothing to do with roids, theyre available to everyone.Weightlifting has a huge tradition and financial support in Russia, bulgaria ,iran and turkey. There is massive participation and motivation compared to Britain.
but there's no coincidence that the countries which are traditionally considered the most relaxed on testing also seem to dominate weightlifting.
Yeah i agree, but where do you live ?
its cultural and financial ,not roids that make the difference, different countries are good at different sports due to these reasons.
don't get powerlifting confused with olympics.
i think you are right..have never seen akhaev miss a jerk...
weight class in title would be nice
молодец! Мужик
No, why did he pull out?
@ISRAELKING100 Brother, I do not understand what you mean. I did not know English:))
Sorry to break it to you, but practically all strength-athletes at this level juice...
Does Klokov still compete?
cool
US has people from all around the world. Most nations have only 1 major ethnicity.
No, other countries juice, it's just impossible to do it in the UK. It's a good reason, not an excuse.
Le patron...

What's his Bodyweight?
Wat een beer.
I live in good old "merica. actually its a rather young country... but yeah I live and train in the U.S.
no sarcasm..just nice to see
@ownedlol123 That's implied.
Красава
2:10 like a boss
Wooow}!!!
did not know that. When WL was broadcast on tv doping was rampant, seemed like WL'ers did it the most. I thought this guy was clean.
Is it just me or does Klokov look like Bradley cooper at 1:23?
inspires me to Olympic lift, but I know I will snap some shit if I tried
красава!!!!!!!!
he is stupid strong it is almost scary to think what he can do with 500 pounds
Не понял? Там же Аккаев прдеставлял...А, это ЧМ.
Oh most definitely. For a 105 he has to be the best looking
I think we all have an idea as to why he withdrew. We cant say for sure but regardless of what happened I'm disappointed that he couldn't compete. : (
most people here, including me, couldn't even budge 500lbs off the ground, much less lift it above head.
so if he's on something, i'd like to know what.
3:09 crossing himself...unexpected...
232kg ~ 511lbs
he didn`t

@BerkutDAV приколько сказал:))
Some gyms are in kilos and others are in pounds, the REAL gyms are in kilos. Its only commercial and some school gyms that use pounds really.
hehe :) but then you just served my point again, but i'm rather surprised really, you are the first american ive met that thinks the metric system is better for sports and training.

holy
fuck
lol i think the only reason someone will beat out klokov is because of weight... which always happens. he's always like .2 KG heavier which sucks
Победы в Лондоне!
Give me all the roids in the world and im still not lifting that much lol. Not saying he is juicing...just saying that IF he is, don't act like his numbers still aren't CRAZYYYY!!!
@418cjpaul haha is that sarcasm?
Yup agree, like saying Ben Johnson wouldn't have been the athlete he was without the pharma (Ben again wasn't the onlyone!) There's some very naive folk around!
If those are 55lb plates that's 495 pounds

@skirts365 Lol, pounds.
and the international doping test are standard.
how naive are you? you think other weightlifters from other countries don't cycle?
hahaha natural! LOL!
YONO You only natty once, bro.
Khadzhimurat is the best
they dont use pounds, only americans use pounds. this is an international sport so they use kg
no
there are roids rampant in every gym in Britain, never mind to elite athletes.TESTING AT INTERNATIONAL COMPS IS THE SAME FOR ALL COUNTRIES.
Lol I couldn't care less if the UK never win a weightlifting medal. because his religion has to do with weightlifting right?
ох ох ох))) Особенно такие славяне как Аккаев, Беджанян, Могушков, Чен итп. и больше всех славянин Юрик Варданян
haha yeh because US lifters really are the best in this sport.....
Actually, if you knew anything about juicing you'd know that klokov and many many others aren't natural.
How naive.
