    Country relaxed on testing are generally coutry where lifter train 12/16 time a week in modest facility. Check the recent klokov video.The dianabol is the same in new york, paris and moscou.

    Same. I'd love to learn some of this stuff but these seem like extremely technical lifts that you absolutely need a coach to teach you otherwise you could really fuck yourself up.

    Not in competitive weight-classed lifting, he was probably lifting around a 225lb weight class here. They bulk a lot to gain muscle then cut fat the week before.

    Here is the thing it takes 1 month to get any drug completely out of your system to the point where professional tests dont work and i knew an olympic runner up for the us until he tweaked his knee he was completely natural and set at least 5 lifting records that i know of at my highschool

    You realise that Klokov didn't compete in the 2012 olympics because he failed his PEDs test right? (not taking anything away from him, the man is a beast!)

    Also, why do you think Klokov and Akkaev withdrew from the olympics? There's a new GH test that detects the use within weeks instead of hours. Coincidence?

  • @lukebelliveau7375
    @lukebelliveau7375 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    it was later released on a web site (the name evades me) the klockov didnt compete because he failed the russian teams independent testing to avoid the embarrassment. misha was also not allowed to compete because of this.

    it has nothing to do with roids,theyre available to everyone.Weightlifting has a huge tradition and financial support in Russia,bulgaria ,iran and turkey.There is massive participation and motivation compared to Britain.

  • @HamerD
    @HamerD 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    but there's no coincidence that the countries which are traditionally considered the most relaxed on testing also seem to dominate weightlifting.

  • @scarred10

    its cultural and financial ,not roids that make the difference,different countries are good at different sports due to these reasons.

    There are roids in every gym in Britain but not taken by the serious athletes who want to compete in international events. The domestic testing by the UK is far more stringent and more difficult to outfox than the official testing of the events.

    Lets face it a lack of roids is not the problem in the UK...a lack of interest or rather a lack of anything in the school system that promotes any sport other than football, rugby, cricket and oddly badminton is the problem! Bring some form of strength and conditioning into high schools and in 10-15 years who knows?

    Some gyms are in kilos and others are in pounds, the REAL gyms are in kilos. Its only commercial and some school gyms that use pounds really.

  • @MrJoffe95
    @MrJoffe95 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    hehe :) but then you just served my point again, but i'm rather surprised really, you are the first american ive met that thinks the metric system is better for sports and training.

  • @HamerD
    @HamerD 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Whatever, it's true but if it helps you sleep at night to imagine it's fake, then go ahead and believe that. Wouldn't want to affect your beauty sleep.

  • @CSRugby7
    @CSRugby7 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Skentuey is right. Sadly, most olympic lifters are on steroids. It is easy enough for them to cycle off for the olympics. Just speak to any of the american oly lifters on this topic or listen to Jon North's and Donny Shankle's weightlifting talk. I wish it weren't true...

  • @WybjornVR
    @WybjornVR 11 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hate to burst the bubble but they're ALL juicing, not just the Russians. If they've placed in the Olympics in recent years, they've 100% been juicing at some point or another.

    If those are 55lb plates that's 495 pounds

  • @HamerD
    @HamerD 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    There is no doubt that the countries which win regularly have masses of support / tradition and motivation PLUS roids and that makes a winning combination. But some countries like Britain just don't have roids available as you said - the testing is way more stringent as I already said. And that missing means you just can't compete.

  • @HamerD
    @HamerD 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lol I couldn't care less if the UK never win a weightlifting medal. It's common knowledge amongst any people with even a modicum of familiarity with the sport that the Russians are juicing to the max. I know a guy who was a coach in the 2012 olympics who overheard the Russian coach just openly telling everyone about how annoyed they were that they all fucked up Klokov's cycle timing.

  • @Nikodhemus
    @Nikodhemus 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    No, you probably don't know such a guy. This is youtube; it would be safest to assume you know nothing, and are talking out of your ass. To think that they would openly discuss such things amongst foreign lifters and coaches, who may use this against them, seems to me quite dumb. Have anyone considered the possibility that yes, they use PEDs, and yes, they were properly injured?
